Re-Introducing Myself here, Baby on the way, lost job, and trying all possibilities to succeed

I wrote a page introducing myself way back then but didn't really dive in with it so here goes...

I just turned 30 years old on Nov 13th. Had been working in a few different warehouses driving forklifts as a temp, until finally just last week they called and said the assignment had been ended. Yeah you know, stuff happens, but then I remembered about this site.

I have been with my beautiful woman for just under 2 years and we're happier than ever.

That's us!

Most of her family lives about 3 hours away from where we currently are, in Lansing. Her parents moved to Hawaii pretty recently to pursue their dream, which is basically everyone's dream too right?

My Mother moved to St Louis, MO to go help raise my younger sister and her 3 kids, because that's quite a bit of work taking care of all of that, and their dog and cats! She does love it out there though.

The rest of my family is kind of hard to get a hold of if we were ever to need anything.

Our short term goal was to relocate closer to her family (near Lansing) so that way we can start to build up a safety net of sorts. That would just be cool to have a family to share it all with.

The ideal place would be an area between Lansing and Owosso for 3 reasons.

Being close to her family would provide a fantastic support system for the both of us.

My girlfriend would like to continue pursuing her dream job as an Ultrasound Tech, which offers courses at Baker in Owosso. She is already over halfway done and Baker credits only transfer to Baker Colleges.

There is an absolute abundance of job opportunities and trades around the area, so I would have plenty of things to choose from.

Well.... Then this happened..

Due to situations that I brought upon myself years ago, monetary issues are forcing us to put our dreams on hold, and expedite some things.

I had a serious drinking problem years ago, all day everyday, and in a period of 21 days I got 3 drunk driving tickets, lost my license, and did some jail time.

So I finally got all my fines and court costs caught up and paid, with the exception of my license, It will cost about $4500 just to get my license back.

I have not drank like that in over 3 years, and my main priority now is my child.

The two of us have a bit it in savings, not enough for the license fee. I have a little bit of crypto, but i wouldn't want to sell it now at a loss. I just feel like I can't take that money that I have in savings and then be broke and still without a license. They will not reinstate it with a payment plan or anything like that.

We are going to move 3 hours away, to say it will be expensive is an understatement. If I had the ability to obtain my license, without draining our savings, that would be a godsend. I would still need to buy myself a car and get insurance too, along with a security deposit and all that, but I could do that myself.

I made a GoFundMe Page and shared it on facebook and had lots of reshares there but it's not looking so great.

I don't expect anything from anybody, I'm just hoping for a miracle at this point. I love this woman more than anything, and want to physically love Everlynn so much already!

This right here is leading up to my chance at becoming a real man and a good Father

I just want to be able to create a stable, infrastructure in order to help my baby fly sky high in life!
