Welcome to Steem Community @whirldly! As a gentle reminder, please keep your master password safe. The best practise is to use your private posting key to login to Steemit when posting; and the private active key for wallet related transactions.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still confused by all the passwords and when I should and should not use them. Also the difference between the the keys that are shown and the private key that is toggled.
