Introducing myself. I'm excited to be part of Steemit and hopefully be able to add some value

My name is Francisco, from Venezuela. I’m 30 years old. 

I am extremely excited to finally join Steemit as I think this is a really cool community of people who are truly interested in growing and sharing. 

I’ve been travelling the world for about 8 years almost, in a journey of self-discovery and getting to know the diversity of our beautiful planet, both nature and human wise. 

I’ve been a volunteer, a teacher, a computer geek, a security guard, a masseuse, a street musician and part of a wedding band. I’ve been selling sweets in the beach, an organic farmer, an online marketer, a translator and soap opera subtitle-maker.  

I’ve hitchhiked 5000 km in 10 days through South America and travel in first class plane in Europe. 

From partying for weeks nonstop in “La Ciudad de la Furia” Buenos Aires to be in silent for 10 days and meditating for about 12 hrs a day in India. 

You name it and if I haven’t tried it, at least I’ve thought about it.  

I just think life is an infinite catalogue of experiences that it just doesn’t make sense for me to settle down thinking that I will be doing the same job every day for the rest of my life. Oh, yeah, holidays exist, I forgot that it makes sense to work 11 months of the year to have 1 month (when you are lucky) of holidays. 

Anyways… 

My intention with this account is to share everything that has helped me to have a richer experience in life as well as some traveling insights and basically anything that can be used to share and open a healthy discussion. 

I also want to engage and communicate with people around the world, to know what others think and feel about different subjects. I think we have to open ourselves to speak about topics that we haven’t dare to speak (or very little) and to allow our comfort zone to expand so we can grow with it. 

I will be writing about our minds and our bodies, and better yet, about some tools and tactics that have made an impact in my own life.  

I also want to read what others have experienced and to share and exchange this kind of knowledge, always in a respectful manner to others opinions, because at the end of the day, everybody’s life is completely different, no exceptions.
