I had some similar experiences to you. I went from Canada to Scotland and from there overland to India when I was nineteen (well, I only made it to Afghanistan that first trip. I was headed for India but ran out of health and money in Afghanistan. But I did make it to India a year later and stayed for 6 years.)
That's awesome. Traveling and experiencing different cultures is amazing. I know you mentioned your Uncle was born in India.. Do you have family over there? Or did you build a community from the ground up when you got there?
