RE: Hello Steem! CoinGecko is here! 👋👋
Awesome! I am using coingecko for a long time now and have recommended it to many others as it is a great tool to keep track of exactly the coins one wants to track. Glad to have you on here! !pancakes for everyone
We're glad to know that!
If there is any suggestions at all that you'd like to give, just holla at us. We're happy to receive any feedback.
Let me have a go:
One thing I would like to see is a view of my main coins with their $ price and their price respective to BTC and ETH, but when I enable all three the chart gets really really small with all the labels. So being able to have bigger cards in the dashboard would be nice.
Also a feature where there is only one chart but one can add multiple currencies in multiple denominators to it. Say STEEM⇔$ and STEEM⇔BTC and SBD⇔STEEM and SBD⇔$ all in one chart and that chart full screen.
There are moments when I would enjoy a say 1h view in addition to the 24h view. Or a 3 day view with markers of days so one can check for daily patterns.
That are the things I have so far :)
Hello @reggaemuffin!
We were looking back on this post and then realized we must have somehow missed this comment train! Apologies!!
Actually we are looking into that (chart label) issue for some time. There are some fixes which we hope you find to your liking. As for the Dashboard card size, we'll see how we can work around it. No guarantees but we're definitely looking into it.
Ooh, Power user!! In that case, we will recommend you our free API for your dedicated full-screen chart! talk to us in Discord to see if our community can help you with it!
I really like the convenience of having a goto website so I would not like to code my own chart. Are there tools that use the api which I can easily use?
Glad that you are working on the issues :)
hmm, so far we haven't come across any fan of ours with that tool. :(
One small thing I noticed: Steems community score is as 40% which is probably because we have our own blockchain community and don't need reddit or twitter as much. Can that be factored into the score?
Yes, we realized that.
At the moment we're not factoring that into Community Rank. We tried but there are simply too much challenges that it's not feasible when looking from the birds-eye view on the whole cryptocurrency industry. (ie. How do you compare a Steemit/Busy/Esteem user to a Twitter follower ... etc)
This might change in the future though as more people start using blockchain based social media.. who knows!
@coingecko Wuhhh , Welcome ! I love coingecko.com <3 I'm glad !
Welcome Aboard the Steem Train!
And don't forget to add your steemit account in the 'Follow Us' section of your website. With over 1 Million accounts already created you'll never know who might start following you ;-)
