Apologies are accepted, and forgivenesses granted; but, the truest measure of mature, quality-character is not behaving in a way that requires such an humble-pie existence in the first place.
While seeking forgiveness is good, truest freedom rests in allowing people to choose whether you are a plus or minus to their overall well-being. This is, as an important part of the equation as, asking forgiveness.
