Hello all fellow Steemians,

Steemnexus welcomes you to a a beautiful platform called Steemit, a platform like no other where your content is earning you money.

It's been a journey, since I have joined and made quite a progress, both in terms of income and also learned a whole bunch of things. Trust me, you may have seen social platforms, but there is never a more dedicated and caring environment for people.

Before we begin with the details of the contest, I would like to share a few of my experiences with you...

• Do not try to impress whales, Instead focus on your content.
• Try to use various platforms based on steem blockchain as per your interest. e.g. @dtube for videos and vlogging, @steepshot if you're into images, photography etc., @dmania for memes and funny content, @zappl for microblogging and yet many more to come.
• Do not forget to try @steemauto and @steemfollower, The creator of these applications @mahdiyari(Do not forget to vote for him as a witness) for Steemit users actually help you a lot.
• There are certain witnesses, who are very helpful in terms of their content, which will make your life easier. eg. @jarrybanfield, @timclaff, @ned etc.
  *Join steemit chat and check announcements quite often. There is also a tag for post promotion, try to use it.
• And last but not the least, Enjoy your time on Steemit.

All right, as we all know, the initial time on Steemit is quite difficult, Making only a few cents everyday... Trust me, sometimes it's heartbreaking, and people will tell you that you expected way too much. Actually, There is no harm in expecting for the best, however, good things happen with a little extra time.

So, as for the competition, There are no complex rules, only a few conditions to qualify.

• First, the competition is only meant for new joiners. Mandatory, to have an Introduceyourself post, as that is what you ll be judged on.
• This is a regular competition, and out of each round we will select 5 people everyday.
• Winners will be announced next day, and be awarded the upvotes within 2-5 hours of announcement.Just in case you miss a few upvotes, don't worry some curators may be busy and may upvote at their convenience.
• The sbd reward earned from this competition will straight away go for steem power delegation, so, that we can expand the horizon of people that can get upvotes can be expanded.
• The date on which you joined should not be more than a month.
