Hey, cool to see another guitarist here. We have some similarities. I've been playing for a similar time and not performed much. It's only in recent years that I've actually joined some bands and been to pub sessions. I've played a few times at our local open mic and am getting confident now. I also didn't sing before as I didn't think I could, but I'm finding I'm not so terrible really. At least people don't run away or throw things. Singing and playing is a skill you develop.
