Yes i just love numbers and investing money, dont really know why tho haha. I join slack groups, talk to team members of the coin, watch video's, blogs etc etc. Then when i think it could have real world use (the most important thing, because if it has it can easy go 1000x) i buy it as much of it as i can. I think when you put allot of time in researching you'r coin you will see it back in the long term :)
Wise words my man. I completely agree it needs real world use. I'm looking to make my first purchase and I'm trying to decide which to go for. Naturally you want a diversified portfolio. What exchange do you use?
I buy my coins via bittrex, but i don't like keeping them there because they can get lost stolen nobody knows if the site decides to steal all your coins and say there was a big cyber attack or something. So for security reasons i like to keep my coins in wallets. also you should back up all your wallets on a usb. And yes diversifing is most important if you only buy 1 or 2 coins and they both end up failling you have nothing. You only need 1 big win to never ever have to work again in life better invest a little bit in more coins then allot in 1 if you'd ask me. Also i would suggest lnog term holding because of this: if you have 1000 dollars in a coin and that coin increases 100% youd have 2000 dollars so you get 1000 profit but if you keep the coins and the price increases 100% again you have 4000 then you suddenly make 2000 dollars on 100% increase and so on it really does not take long to be talking about millions.
Ah yeah I read about that recently if you are investing it's best to put your coins into your own wallet. Do you use a hardware wallet or an online wallet with a manual backup of the keystore? Good analogy I suppose it's like buying in Bitcoin at £1 then selling at £2 and today it's like £1800!
Yes exactly!, i dont store them online i only use hardware wallet when its stored on a usb 100% cannot be stolen for what i know it can otherwise be gone the next day i wake up
