Hello Steemians!
Today I spent time playing Pentris on Steem-Retrogames, and it turned out to be a very solid and intense gaming session. I played three rounds, all ending with Gameover, but each round showed clear progression and improvement. Pentris is one of those games that demands full attention, quick thinking, and smart block placement, and today’s gameplay truly reflected.

First Round

The first round started strongly. I felt comfortable early on and managed the blocks well. My focus was on keeping the board clean and avoiding unnecessary stacking. Although the round eventually ended at 3314, it was a solid foundation and a good warm-up for the next attempts.

Second Round

Score: 3859
Verdict: Gameover

The second round felt even better. My reactions were faster, and my decision-making improved. I was more confident with rotations and placements, which helped me survive longer. Reaching 3859 showed clear improvement compared to the first round, and it motivated me to push harder.

Third Round

Score: 3916
Verdict: Gameover

In the third round, everything clicked together nicely. I stayed calm, avoided panic placements, and focused on creating space for incoming blocks. Ending the session with 3916 felt rewarding, as it showed consistent growth across all three rounds.

Reflections

Pentris is not just about speed — it’s about strategy, patience, and awareness. Today’s session reminded me that improvement comes from staying focused and learning from mistakes. Each round helped me understand the game mechanics better and sharpen my instincts.

Final Thoughts

Even though all three rounds ended in Gameover, the overall experience was positive and motivating. Seeing my scores rise from round to round proves that practice truly pays off. I’m excited to return, improve even more, and challenge myself further in upcoming sessions.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to share your own Pentris experiences or tips in the comment
