Hello and welcome back to “My Life in Soccerverse”! Chapter eleven has a distinctly bitter taste, because it brings the first defeat since we took charge of Inter – and it happens right in the Milan derby against our much-hated cousins in red and black. It’s one of those days where you feel like you lose, they lose, and football loses too, but while San Siro is soaked in regret, the rest of Victory Vault does its best to keep spirits high: between teams flying at the top, precious draws and big away wins, our other clubs keep grinding out results and keeping this season’s story very much alive.

League Results – Saturday Matchday

🇮🇹 Inter

A nightmare Derby della Madonnina: Milan sit deep all game, one shot on target and one goal; we, on the other hand, finish with zero shots in total. They win, we lose and, given how the match played out, football loses a bit as well. It’s our first defeat of this era, and it stings twice as much because it comes in one of the most emotionally charged fixtures of the year.

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

Away to Jagiellonia we find ourselves facing a “clone” of Milan in Polish sauce: very deep block, packed back line and almost no space to play. Unlike the derby, though, here nobody finds the net, it ends in yet another 0–0 and we surrender top spot, which remains in the hands of the other three teams we were sharing it with.

🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy

We visit another historic giant of Ukrainian football, Dynamo Kyiv, and choose the “bunker” route: low block, compact lines and plenty of suffering. In the end we bring home another 0–0 that is worth an awful lot, a precious point added to our survival stash.

🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea

Away at Unirea Slobozia we once again play the part of the unstoppable side: authoritative display and a one-way match. We stay firmly in control of the Romanian second division alongside Politehnica Timișoara, with a sizeable gap already opening to the chasing pack and the clear impression that we have an extra gear.

🇷🇺 Amkar

Against KAMAZ we end up in what feels like an ice hockey scoreline: we score four, just like in the previous game, but this time we somehow manage the “anti-feat” of conceding four as well. A crazy 4–4 that leaves a bit of regret but, given the rollercoaster, is still a decent point that keeps us within reasonable distance of the promotion zone.

🇹🇷 Denizlispor

From one of the teams we were most worried about at the start, we’ve turned into one of the form sides of the entire portfolio: Menemen Belediyespor are the latest to pay the price, swept aside without mercy. We keep flying and further strengthen a second place that is anything but accidental at this stage.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Edinburgh City

Against Stranraer, a direct rival in the promotion race, the stats say we play better, but the scoreboard tells a different story: we take the lead and then concede twice, going down 2–1. It’s a painful defeat, but one that needs to be filed away quickly, heads down, back to work on the main objective.

🇬🇷 Panachaiki

We travel to face a very strong Lamia, clear leaders of the league and with a big gap in quality on paper. We decide to approach it cautiously, but as the minutes go by it’s actually us who take control of the game and in the end we snatch a narrow win that truly feels like an upset.

🇦🇹 Krems

At home against Bad Gleichenberg, a side well within our reach, things get complicated when we go down to ten men in the 35th minute. We fall behind early in the second half but never give up, and only in the 93rd minute do we manage to level it: a 1–1 that leaves some regret but, given how it was going, is better than nothing.

🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo

If there was a team that could scare us because of the jump in division, it was Haskovo… and yet we keep surprising everyone: a narrow win away at Nesebar and fourth place consolidated, just three points off the top. The outlook is now far more ambitious than a simple comfortable survival.

🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak

We revert to the old system and, as if by magic, we get back to winning: away at Medjimurje Čakovec we put in a solid, clinical display. It’s exactly the kind of reaction we wanted after the first signs of a slowdown, confirming that the path we’ve chosen is the right one.

🇫🇷 Dieppe

Away to Brétigny Foot we lay down the law from the very start: powerful performance, high intensity and a game closed out without fuss. It’s the classic win that allows no argument and lets us approach Wednesday’s crucial head-to-head against Stade Beaucairois (third vs second) with sky-high confidence.

🇨🇿 Zlín

Do we really need to repeat that we’re convinced this is one of the strongest teams in the league? Away at Hlučín we rack up a sixth consecutive league win and keep climbing the table. The feeling is crystal clear: the comeback is no longer just an idea, it’s a process fully underway.

Balance and outlook

The balance of this chapter is marked by a deep wound: the first defeat of the Inter era, and in the derby no less, weighs heavily on morale. At the same time, though, the overall Victory Vault picture remains strong: Bihor keep dominating, Denizlispor are flying, Zlín won’t stop, and plenty of other teams show identity and character even when things get tough. It’s a week where the cover is extremely bitter, but the inside pages tell the story of a project that doesn’t crumble at the first setback: if we can turn the anger from the derby into positive energy, the next chapters of “My Life in Soccerverse” might just showcase one of the most important reactions of our season.

Ciao e bentornati a “My Life in Soccerverse”! L’undicesimo capitolo ha un sapore decisamente amaro, perché arriva la prima sconfitta da quando siamo alla guida dell’Inter, e proprio nella stracittadina milanese contro i tanto odiati cugini rossoneri. È una di quelle giornate in cui hai la sensazione di perdere tu, perdere loro e perdere anche il calcio, ma mentre San Siro si tinge di rimpianti, il resto del Victory Vault prova a tenere alto il morale: tra fughe in vetta, pareggi preziosi e vittorie pesanti fuori casa, le nostre altre squadre continuano a macinare risultati e a tenere viva la narrativa di questa stagione.

Risultati – Turno di Campionato (Sabato)

🇮🇹 Inter

Derby di Milano da incubo: il Milan decide di giocarla tutti dietro, un tiro nello specchio e un gol; noi, al contrario, chiudiamo con zero tiri totali. Vincono loro, perdiamo noi e, per come si è sviluppata la partita, perde un po’ anche il calcio: prima sconfitta della nostra gestione, che brucia doppiamente perché arriva proprio nel giorno più sentito.

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

In casa dello Jagiellonia ci ritroviamo di fronte una versione “clone” del Milan in chiave polacca: avversari molto bassi, linea difensiva arroccata e spazi ridottissimi. A differenza del derby però qui nessuno trova il gol, finisce con l’ennesimo 0–0 e lasciamo la vetta, che resta nelle mani delle altre tre squadre con cui la condividevamo.

🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy

Andiamo a far visita a un’altra storica grande del calcio ucraino, la Dinamo Kiev, e scegliamo la via del fortino: blocco basso, linee strette e tanta sofferenza. Alla fine portiamo a casa un altro 0–0 che vale tantissimo, un punto prezioso che aggiungiamo al nostro gruzzoletto-salvezza.

🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea

Trasferta sul campo dell’Unirea Slobozia e, ancora una volta, recitiamo il ruolo della squadra inarrestabile: prestazione autoritaria e partita a senso unico. Manteniamo saldamente il comando della seconda divisione romena insieme al Politehnica Timișoara, con un margine già importante sulla concorrenza e l’impressione di avere una marcia in più.

🇷🇺 Amkar

Contro il KAMAZ ci ritroviamo in una sorta di partita di hockey su ghiaccio: segniamo quattro gol come nella gara precedente, ma stavolta riusciamo nella “non impresa” di subirne altrettanti. Un 4–4 pirotecnico che lascia un po’ di rimpianto ma che, vista la giostra, è comunque un buon punto e ci mantiene a distanza ragionevole dalla zona promozione.

🇹🇷 Denizlispor

Da una delle squadre che più ci preoccupavano in avvio siamo diventati una delle più in forma dell’intero portfolio: a farne le spese è il Menemen Belediyespor, travolto senza appello. Continuiamo a volare e consolidiamo ulteriormente un secondo posto che oggi è tutto fuorché casuale.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Edinburgh City

Contro lo Stranraer, rivale diretto nella corsa promozione, i numeri dicono che giochiamo meglio noi, ma il tabellino racconta tutt’altro: passiamo in vantaggio e poi subiamo la rimonta fino al 2–1 finale. Una sconfitta che fa male ma che va archiviata a testa bassa, tornando a lavorare sull’obiettivo principale.

🇬🇷 Panachaiki

Facciamo visita al fortissimo Lamia, leader ampiamente staccato del campionato e con un divario di valori sulla carta evidente. Decidiamo di impostarla in maniera attendista, ma col passare dei minuti siamo noi a prendere in mano il gioco e alla fine strappiamo una vittoria di misura che ha il sapore dell’impresa.

🇦🇹 Krems

In casa contro il Bad Gleichenberg, squadra ampiamente alla nostra portata, la partita si complica quando restiamo in dieci al 35’. Andiamo sotto a inizio ripresa ma non molliamo mai e solo al 93’ riusciamo a rimetterla in parità: 1–1 che lascia un po’ di rammarico ma che, per come si era messa, è meglio di niente.

🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo

Se c’era una squadra che, per salto di categoria, poteva preoccupare, era proprio l’Haskovo… e invece continuiamo a sorprendere tutti: vittoria di misura in casa del Nesebar e quarto posto consolidato, a soli tre punti dalla vetta. Prospettive ormai molto più interessanti di una semplice salvezza tranquilla.

🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak

Torniamo al vecchio modulo e, come per magia, torniamo anche alla vittoria: sul campo del Medjimurje Čakovec sfoderiamo una prestazione solida e cinica. È esattamente il tipo di risposta che volevamo dopo i primi segnali di rallentamento, a conferma che la strada intrapresa è quella giusta.

🇫🇷 Dieppe

In casa del Brétigny Foot mettiamo subito le cose in chiaro: prestazione di forza, intensità alta e partita chiusa senza troppi fronzoli. È la classica vittoria che non ammette repliche e che ci permette di arrivare al cruciale scontro diretto di mercoledì contro lo Stade Beaucairois (seconda contro terza) con il morale alle stelle.

🇨🇿 Zlín

Serve ancora ripetere che siamo convinti di avere una delle squadre più forti del campionato? Sul campo dell’Hlučín mettiamo in fila la sesta vittoria consecutiva e continuiamo a scalare la classifica. La sensazione è chiara: la rimonta ormai non è più solo un’idea, ma un processo in pieno svolgimento.

Bilancio e prospettive

Il bilancio di questo capitolo è segnato da una ferita profonda: la prima sconfitta alla guida dell’Inter, e proprio nel derby, pesa come un macigno sul morale e sulla narrativa. Allo stesso tempo però, il quadro complessivo del Victory Vault resta solido: Bihor continua a dominare, Denizlispor vola, Zlín non si ferma più e tante altre squadre dimostrano di avere identità e carattere anche nei momenti più complicati. È una settimana in cui la copertina è amarissima, ma le pagine interne raccontano di un progetto che non si spezza alla prima caduta: se sapremo trasformare la rabbia del derby in energia positiva, i prossimi capitoli di “My Life in Soccerverse” potrebbero segnare una delle reazioni più importanti della nostra stagione.
