Hello and welcome back to “My Life in Soccerverse”! Chapter nineteen brings us to a true breaking point: Inter fall undeservedly away to the reigning champions Roma, and the following day we hand our resignation in to the board, because by now the season has been completely distorted and the new game engine has revealed itself for what it is, a meaningless roll of the dice with no logic, no consistency and no respect for the work built over the previous months. At this stage I honestly prefer plain old gambling over spending more time planning and organising everything only to end up with nothing in my hands.

League Results – Saturday Matchday

🇮🇹 Inter

We travel to the Olimpico, to face the reigning Italian champions, and although the numbers tell us we dominated the game from start to finish, the pitch tells a different story: they take it with a Dybala moment that proves decisive. It’s a defeat that feels like a total injustice, because the performance was there, but the new version of the game seems to reward everything except logic.

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

We host Puszcza Niepołomice, another side sitting near the bottom of the table, and dispatch them with a clean 3–0 win that keeps us top of the standings jointly with Wisła Kraków. A solid, tidy, no-nonsense performance that at least gives us a small consolation in an otherwise brutal day.

🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy

After conceding five goals in the most absurd way in the previous match, this time we score four ourselves, also in a way that makes very little sense. Against Chornomorets it finishes 4–0, in a game that once again underlines how the new engine has made everything completely unpredictable, for better or for worse.

🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea

It’s the second straight match against a side without a coach, lined up in the default 4-4-2 and making no substitutions, and the second negative result for a team that had been cruising through the league without any real issues. Against Phoenix Buziaș it ends 1–1, while Politehnica Timișoara win again and draw level with us at the top of the table. Another heavy blow, and another one that is hard to digest.

🇷🇺 Amkar

In a system where logic no longer seems to exist, smaller teams suffer even more from the chaos, and against newly promoted sides we are now basically unable to win. Against a side with an inactive manager we are completely overrun, but somehow manage to snatch a draw in the 89th minute. A 1–1 that leaves exactly the same feeling as always: nobody can really make sense of these games anymore.

🇹🇷 Denizlispor

Denizlispor are the side that has suffered the most from the damage caused by the new match engine. Against İçel İdmanyurdu Spor it ends 3–0 to them, with no appeal and no sensible explanation. Another blow that drags us deeper into a season that is becoming more and more unrecognisable

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Edinburgh City

After a good win in the direct clash, we go back to facing a bot side, and once again there is no escape: Turriff United edge us by a single goal at home. It’s a defeat that hurts especially because it comes against a team that should, on paper, be manageable, but which the new engine has turned into a far more dangerous opponent than it should ever be.

🇬🇷 Panachaiki

A fourth straight defeat already says enough about how our season is sliding away. Against Larisa it ends 0–2 in a farce that has long since crossed the line of credibility, and there really isn’t much more to add beyond the frustration.

🇦🇹 Krems

By the law of large numbers, we go away to unmanaged Oberwart and win 2–0. The funniest part is that the engine nonsense is still there: we lined up exactly like a bot side, and yet the result still comes. It’s the kind of episode that would be laughable if it weren’t once again proving how absurd everything has become.

🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo

But could the ridiculousness stop there? Of course not. We face the bottom-placed bot side and lose 3–2 in another result that feels like it came straight out of a completely broken simulation. A painful defeat, made even worse by how surreal it feels.

🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak

We keep playing against every possible form of logic, but this time at least we sweep a bot side aside with a clear 3–0 win. A rare moment where the system seems to produce something close to normality, even if the overall taste of the season is still deeply bitter.

🇫🇷 Dieppe

Cannet Rocheville come to town and, once again, for absolutely no sensible reason, we win 3–1. Just another part of this mad carousel where it has become impossible to tell where real team quality ends and where the chaos of the game engine begins.

🇨🇿 Zlín

For every team winning without reason, there’s another one unable to win at all: Zlín. Against Viktoria Žižkov it ends 1–1, another result that keeps us outside the promotion zone and confirms just how frustrating this end of season has become.

UCL Results - Monday Matchday

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

We return to the Champions League with a clear desire to bounce back after our latest European outings and, this time, we finally record our first win in the competition. Against the much more highly rated Red Bull Salzburg, we deliver a solid, practical and above all efficient performance, which earns us a valuable 2–0 and gives us a huge boost in what has been a difficult and often frustrating European run so far.

Balance and outlook

This nineteenth chapter is, effectively, the point of no return. Inter fall in Rome after a performance that deserved a far better outcome, and the following day we are forced to hand our resignation to the board, because the season is now irreparably distorted by an obscene, criterion-free game engine that shows complete disregard for the work that had been built up until this point. At this stage, and I say this without beating around the bush, I would rather go back to traditional gambling than keep spending time, energy and organisation on a system that keeps returning only random and deeply unfair results. We leave with the anger of those who spent months of energy only to end up facing a system that falsified everything..

Ciao e bentornati a “My Life in Soccerverse”! Il diciannovesimo capitolo ci porta a un punto di rottura definitivo: l’Inter soccombe immeritatamente in casa della Roma campione d’Italia, e il giorno dopo ci troviamo costretti a rimettere il nostro incarico al board, perché ormai la stagione è stata completamente falsata e il nuovo motore di gioco si è rivelato per quello che è: un lancio di dadi senza logica, senza coerenza e senza rispetto per il lavoro costruito nei mesi precedenti. A questo punto preferisco il gambling puro al continuo sbattermi per organizzare tutto, per poi ritrovarmi sempre con un pugno di mosche in mano.

Risultati – Turno di Campionato (Sabato)

🇮🇹 Inter

Andiamo all’Olimpico, in casa dei campioni d’Italia in carica, e per quanto i numeri raccontino di una partita dominata in lungo e in largo, il campo dice un’altra cosa: a passare sono loro, con un guizzo di Dybala che basta e avanza per condannarci. Una sconfitta che sa di beffa totale, perché la prestazione c’era, ma il nuovo corso del gioco sembra ormai premiare qualsiasi cosa tranne la logica.

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

Ospitiamo il Puszcza Niepołomice, altra squadra che popola i bassifondi del campionato, e li liquidiamo con un secco 3–0 che ci permette di conservare la prima posizione in coabitazione con il Wisła Kraków. Una prova concreta, pulita, senza sbavature, che ci conferma in vetta e ci lascia almeno una piccola soddisfazione in mezzo a una giornata altrimenti durissima.

🇺🇦 Viktoriya Sumy

Dopo i cinque gol subiti in modo assurdo nella partita precedente, questa volta siamo noi a farne quattro, anche qui senza una vera logica apparente. Contro il Chornomorets finisce 4–0, in una gara che conferma quanto il nuovo engine stia rendendo tutto completamente imprevedibile, nel bene e soprattutto nel male.

🇷🇴 Bihor Oradea

Seconda gara consecutiva contro una squadra senza allenatore, schierata col solito 4-4-2 di default e senza cambi, e seconda uscita negativa per una squadra che stava dominando il campionato senza intoppi. Contro il Phoenix Buziaș finisce 1–1, mentre nel frattempo il Politehnica Timișoara torna a vincere e si riporta in testa alla classifica al nostro fianco. Un altro colpo pesante, difficile da digerire.

🇷🇺 Amkar

Con un sistema in cui la logica non ha più alcun senso, le squadre minori soffrono ancora di più il caos e contro le neopromosse non riusciamo praticamente più a vincere. Contro una squadra con l’allenatore inattivo veniamo letteralmente distrutti, ma all’89’ riusciamo almeno a pareggiarla. Un 1–1 che lascia la stessa sensazione di sempre: non si capisce più quale sia il senso delle partite.

🇹🇷 Denizlispor

Il Denizlispor è la squadra che più di tutte ha subito lo scempio del nuovo match engine. Contro l’İçel İdmanyurdu Spor finisce 3–0 per loro, senza appello e senza alcuna spiegazione sensata. Un’altra botta che ci spinge sempre più dentro il vortice di una stagione ormai irriconoscibile.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Edinburgh City

Dopo la bella vittoria nello scontro diretto torniamo a beccare una squadra bot, e anche questa volta non c’è scampo: il Turriff United passa di misura a casa nostra. Una sconfitta che pesa soprattutto perché arriva contro un avversario sulla carta abbordabile, ma che ormai il nuovo engine rende pericoloso in maniera quasi ridicola.

🇬🇷 Panachaiki

La quarta sconfitta consecutiva racconta già da sola la deriva della nostra stagione. Contro il Larisa finisce 0–2 in una farsa che ormai ha superato abbondantemente il limite del credibile, e davvero non c’è molto da aggiungere oltre alla frustrazione.

🇦🇹 Krems

Per la legge dei grandi numeri andiamo a casa dell’unmanaged Oberwart e passiamo 2–0. Da notare la balordaggine del game engine: ci siamo schierati esattamente come una squadra bot, eppure il risultato arriva comunque. Un episodio che fa quasi ridere, se non fosse che conferma ancora una volta quanto tutto sia diventato assurdo.

🇧🇬 Sayana Haskovo

Ma poteva esserci fine al ridicolo? Ovviamente no. Affrontiamo la bot ultima in classifica e perdiamo 3–2, in un altro episodio che sembra uscito da una simulazione completamente sballata. Una sconfitta che fa male perché arriva in modo quasi surreale.

🇭🇷 Segesta Sisak

Continuiamo a giocare contro ogni tipo di logica, ma stavolta almeno passiamo 3–0 contro una squadra bot, letteralmente asfaltandola. Un raro momento in cui il sistema sembra restituire un minimo di normalità, anche se resta il sapore amaro di una stagione ormai compromessa nella sua credibilità complessiva.

🇫🇷 Dieppe

Arriva il Cannet Rocheville e, anche qui, senza alcun senso apparente, vinciamo 3–1. Un risultato che fa parte di questa giostra impazzita in cui ormai è diventato impossibile capire dove finisca il valore reale delle squadre e dove inizi il puro caos del motore di gioco.

🇨🇿 Zlín

Per una squadra che vince senza senso, ce n’è un’altra che non riesce più a vincerne una: lo Zlín. Contro il Viktoria Žižkov finisce 1–1, con l’ennesimo risultato che ci tiene fuori dalla zona promozione e ci conferma quanto questo finale di stagione stia diventando sempre più frustrante.

🇵🇱 Raków Częstochowa

Torniamo in Champions League con la voglia di riscattarci dopo le ultime uscite europee e questa volta, finalmente, troviamo la prima vittoria nel torneo. Contro il più quotato Red Bull Salisburgo mettiamo in campo una prova solida, concreta e soprattutto efficace, che ci porta a un prezioso 2–0 e ci regala una soddisfazione enorme in un percorso europeo fin qui complicato e spesso frustrante.

Bilancio e prospettive

Questo capitolo diciannove è, di fatto, il punto di non ritorno. L’Inter cade a Roma dopo una prestazione che avrebbe meritato ben altro epilogo, e il giorno seguente ci troviamo costretti a rimettere il nostro incarico al board, perché la stagione è ormai irrimediabilmente falsata da un game engine osceno, senza criterio e senza alcun rispetto per il lavoro che era stato costruito fino a questo momento. A questo punto, lo dico senza mezzi termini, preferisco il gambling classico piuttosto che continuare a investire tempo, energie e organizzazione in un sistema che continua a restituire solo risultati casuali e profondamente ingiusti. Ci congediamo con la rabbia di chi ha investito mesi di energie per poi ritrovarsi davanti a un sistema che ha falsato tutto.
