Siamo dunque arrivati anche quest'anno al momento di partire per la stagione.
Questa mattina mi spostero' nel ravennate dove iniziero' un'altra estate in villaggio, l'ennesima, forse l'ultima e forse no...come dico prima di ogni inizio stagione.
Nuova struttura e nuova agenzia per cui fare il responsabile animazione, si apre un nuovo percorso, la voglia e' ancora quella di sempre, altrimenti avrei fatto altro.
Fino a oltre meta' settembre saro' nelle terre romagnole, poi vedremo quando tornare a Cuba.
Che estate sara' per il nostro turismo?
Con la situazione in medio oriente molte destinazioni, soprattutto quelle nord africane saranno off limits, con la paura di volare anche la Grecia rischia di essere penalizzata, quindi ad oggi Italia e Spagna dovrebbero fare la parte del leone.
I dati al momento confermano questa ipotesi vedremo cosa succedera' nelle prossime settimane.
Come sempre le strutture turistiche sono alla ricerca di personale, piu' si cercano figure specializzate e con esperienza come la mia, piu' e' difficile trovarle.
In un paese dove tutti si lamentano che non c'e' lavoro l'estate offre mille opportunita', bisogna saperle cogliere e magari aver voglia di lavorare.
C'e' un po' di emozione ad ogni inizio stagione, se non ci fosse non avrebbe senso stare piu' di 4 mesi in giro, pero' fino a quando dove appoggio il borsone è "casa" continuero' il mio eterno viaggio.
Nella speranza che duri ancora a lungo.

So, once again, we've reached the time to leave for the season.
This morning I'll be moving to the Ravenna area, where I'll begin another summer at a resort, yet another, perhaps the last, perhaps not... as I say before every season begins.
A new facility and a new agency to be entertainment manager for, a new path opens up. The desire is still the same as always, otherwise I would have done something else.
I'll be in the Romagna region until mid-September, then we'll see when we return to Cuba.
What kind of summer will it be for our tourism industry?
With the situation in the Middle East, many destinations, especially those in North Africa, will be off limits. With the fear of flying, even Greece risks being penalized, so for now, Italy and Spain should be taking the lion's share.
The current data confirms this hypothesis; we'll see what happens in the coming weeks.
As always, tourist facilities are looking for staff; the more they search for specialized and experienced people like mine, the harder it is to find them.
In a country where everyone complains about the lack of work, summer offers a thousand opportunities; you just have to know how to seize them and perhaps even have the desire to work.
There's a bit of excitement at the start of every season; if it weren't there, there wouldn't be any point in staying on the road for more than four months. But as long as where I put my bag is "home," I'll continue my eternal journey.
Hopefully, it lasts a long time.
