Trump ha affermato che e' sua intenzione ritirare parte dei soldati americani da Germania, Italia, Spagna.
Come ha scritto Travaglio sarebbe la classica occasione per chiedere; "Dove bisogna firmare?".
Un' occasione cosi' per toglierci un po' dei 12 mila militari americani che bivaccano nel nostro paese fingendo di proteggerlo non ci ricapitera' piu'.

Badate bene, Trump parla di soldati in organico Nato, non di quelli che dipendono direttamente dal dipartimento di stato Usa, quelli per ora nessuno li tocchera'.
La Nato, su questo Trump ha ragione, e' una tigre di carta, un qualcosa che poteva avere senso quando esisteva il Patto di Varsavia ma che oggi non serve a nulla.
Davvero credete che se Putin attacca l'Estonia gli altri paesi gli dichiareranno guerra?

Sarebbe il momento in cui l'Europa iniziasse, anche dal punto di vista della difesa, a camminare con le proprie gambe, pensando ad un esercito comune e non a 27 come adesso.
Magari semttendo di foraggiare il buffone ucraino.
La Nato e' ai titoli di coda e Trump lo sa bene, e' anche ora che gli Usa la smettano di spendere denaro dei contribuenti per difendere un Europa che nessuno vuole attaccare.
Non a caso ha chiesto un Pil al 5% comprando le armi da lui.
Come a dire "se d'ora in poi volete che vi difendiamo...pagate."

As Travaglio wrote, it would be a classic opportunity to ask, "Where do we have to sign?"
An opportunity like this to remove some of the 12,000 American soldiers camped out in our country pretending to protect it will never happen again.

Mind you, Trump is talking about NATO soldiers, not those directly dependent on the US State Department; for now, no one will touch those.
NATO, Trump is right about this, is a paper tiger, something that might have made sense when the Warsaw Pact existed but is useless today.
Do you really believe that if Putin attacks Estonia, other countries will declare war on him?

It would be time for Europe to start standing on its own two feet, even from a defense standpoint, thinking about a common army and not the 27 it has now.
Perhaps by stopping short of feeding the Ukrainian clown.
NATO is in the final credits, and Trump knows it well. It's also time for the US to stop spending taxpayers' money to defend a Europe that no one wants to attack.
It's no coincidence that he demanded a 5% GDP growth rate by buying weapons from him.
As if to say, "If from now on you want us to defend you... pay."
