Oggi io e mio padre siamo andati in palestra e ne abbiamo approfittato per concederci una colazione dopo l'allenamento. Il piatto che vedete qui è la colazione mia e di mio padre; Sofia ha ordinato uova con caffè.

Today my dad and I went to the gym and took the opportunity to treat ourselves to breakfast after working out. The plate you see here is our breakfast; Sofia ordered eggs with coffee.
Abbiamo ordinato del succo di mango per mio padre e del succo d'arancia per me.

Yesterday Sofia and I shared crackling appetizer; it was the starter for our lunch.
E come al solito, il gelato era d'obbligo. Adoro trascorrere del tempo con mio padre e Sofia , ci manca mia madre, ma passiamo più tempo con lei.

And as usual, ice cream was a must. I love spending time with my dad and Sofia. We miss my mom, but we spend more time with her.

I like the presentation of your post, and also what you say about your father. You spend time with him; this reminds me of when I used to go out with my mother. She would eat whatever she wanted, and we would chat while enjoying the food—moments that stay with you.

My mother is very important to me. I understand how you feel, but remember that in one of your posts you say that you sleep peacefully because you gave your mother everything she wanted. You're a good boy.
