Un anno e qualche mese fa siamo stati a Puerto Berrio , in effetti, ho scritto un post a riguardo. La settimana scorsa siamo tornati in questo posto, ma con una missione, non solo per passeggiare.

Le attività economiche più importanti a Puerto Berrio sono l'agricoltura, l'allevamento e l'attività mineraria. La nostra missione era visitare alcuni allevamenti e acquistare burro e formaggio. Questi prodotti sono più economici per ovvi motivi e li abbiamo acquistati all'ingrosso da diversi proprietari di aziende agricole.

The most important economic activities in Puerto Berrio are agriculture, livestock farming, and mining. Our mission was to visit some ranches and purchase butter and cheese. These products are cheaper for obvious reasons, and we purchased them in bulk from several farm owners.

Il profitto che ricaviamo dalla vendita è più del doppio. Compriamo un blocco di formaggio, cagliata o formaggio costiero per 45.000 pesos colombiani e lo rivendiamo a 150.000. Lo stesso vale per il burro. Quindi questo viaggio ne vale la pena.

The profit we make from sales is more than double. We buy a block of cheese, curd, or coastal cheese for 45,000 Colombian pesos and resell it for 150,000. The same goes for butter. So the trip is worth it.
