¡Saludos amigos!

I hope you're all doing well and having a wonderful day. I'm here today to share my journey playing Steem Pong. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm on vacation and also on leave from school because classes were suspended due to the earthquake, as many of you know. Obviously, I have to make the most of my free time, so I decided to check out the Steem Retro Games website to see what I could play and, of course, to see how I'm doing, hehe. Now, the only game I played, and the only one I'm going to share with you, is Steem Pong. It's a game that requires a lot of speed and concentration, because as the minutes and seconds go by, the ball gets faster and faster, making it very difficult to know where it's going. In this case, my first game was a free one to see how I was doing and if I was ready to invest my Steems. After thinking about it a lot, I started playing my (free) practice game.

Jugando

As you can see, it all started well; I already had 313 points and I was happy. But when I reached 500, things started to get tough. The ball was going way too fast, and even when I grabbed the time-reduction power-up, it only lasted a few seconds, and the suffering continued until I reached 554, where I finally lost all my lives. But I wasn't angry or anything like that; rather, I was super happy. My 550 was a very good score, especially since I hadn't played in a very long time. That totally prepared me to invest my Steems, so I didn't think twice about it. I saw how many Steems I needed; it was just two. So I did and prepared everything I had to prepare, and I already had my premium game mode, so to speak, hehe. Now I was participating in the leaderboard, which motivated me even more, because I wasn't willing to lose my Steems, hehe.

Jugando del manera premium

I was so nervous. I wanted to protect those 10 lives with my soul, like they were my real life, but what happened was I completely froze up. The ball was faster, and I fell asleep, I don't know. All I saw was my lives dwindling, like my mom's bank account. It was crazy. In the end, I lost with a score of 450. And you might think I fought or cried, but no. I felt calm, peaceful, and collected. I knew it wasn't going to be all sunshine and rainbows. Now, it was more of a warm-up, you could say. It was time to play for real. I fell asleep again, but this time it wasn't going to happen again. I had to be quick and give the enemy what he deserved. So I decided to buy another chance. I gave him my two Steems, and now I was ready to play. The idea was to at least climb the leaderboard. If I'm not mistaken, the score accumulates little by little, and this would help me move up. If I'm wrong, let me know.

A seguir para adelante

After buying the other token ticket, or whatever it's called, I got ready. I started playing. Sometimes I have trouble controlling the base to throw the ball, and that's why I sometimes lose lives, but oh well, nothing that can't be fixed. I kept playing. The ball would reach a point where I couldn't see it, but thank God when that happened, it went straight to the enemy; that was a relief. As the minutes passed, the numbers started to drop, and with them, my nerves grew. I didn't want to lose; I wanted to improve my score or at least get a little closer. So, after so many saves and so many fears, I lost all my lives. My score was 543. In a way, I achieved what I wanted, which was to reach at least 500. That filled me with so much happiness, love, and pride. I went to check the leaderboard to see my scores, and I felt incredibly happy.

Algo es algo

And that's how I ended my day, filled with love, peace, tranquility, and lots of learning. I can take this day as inspiration to keep playing on other days and, of course, to keep learning something new. These games require a lot of concentration, peace, and hope to keep going. We shouldn't get angry when we lose; instead, we should look at where we went wrong and improve. Do as I do, and before investing your Steem, warm up a little—that will help you a lot to keep going.

And well, friends from my country, as well as from other countries present in this post. I hope you enjoyed my post and that it inspires you. A big hug and blessings.
