Monte dei Paschi rescued by Italian Goverment

People who are interested in economics and banks know about the miserable status of the italian bank "Monte dei Paschi", the bank who owns a lot of defaulted loans called "Suprime Debt".
Since a few months they are searching for investors to do a increase in capital, which is the only way the bank can survive longterm.

Now the ECB is pushing Monte dei Paschi to gain speed in searching new investors. This is also a bad news for Unicredit, which also want to perform an increase in capital.

Nevertheless, maybe the government of italy has to rescue Monte dei Paschi, the next days will tell
