Ciao a tutti amici e amiche di Italy e di Steemit.

Ho letto una notizia sul forte calo degli investitori crypto in Italia dal 2025. (Rif.)
Numeri in discesa. Meno detentori. Meno volumi.

Nei primi due trimestri del 2025, i possessori di crypto sono passati da 1,7 M a 1,4 M.

Era prevedibile! E secondo me, continueranno a diminuire.

Negli ultimi anni il quadro è diventato veramente molto pesante.
Via la soglia dei 2.000 euro.
Tassazione al 26%.
Dal 2026 si parla di 33%.

Nel 2025 tra nuove regole, incertezza normativa, pressione fiscale, è normale che una parte di utenti sparisca, magari quelli occasionali o quelli meno informati.

Purtroppo, il nostro governo ha scelto di non abbracciare il settore crypto, capisco che può essere complicato comprendere qualcosa che è impossibile controllare facilmente e totalmente.

E sappiamo che Bitcoin nasce proprio per essere fuori da quel perimetro.

La speranza è che queste regole non uccidano il settore… magari potrebbero spingere verso più self-custody e strutture estere.

Io credo in Bitcoin, ma sta diventando stressante stare dietro alle crypto nel nostro paese.
Per questo sto ragionando sempre di più sulla self-custody.
Certo richiede più responsabilità personale e più consapevolezza visto che siamo noi a dover gestire le nostre password.

È una bella sfida!
Lo Stato può aumentare le tasse. Può stringere le regole.
Ma non può spegnere un’idea che nasce per essere decentralizzata.

E sono dell'idea che chi in questo momento decide di restare, nonostante tutto, significa che è più convinto, più strutturato, più attento.

Forse più che assistere ad una fuga di detentori crypto, stiamo assistendo ad una selezione naturale del settore.

Certo dispiace che, invece di crescere, il settore crypto italiano perda capitali.

Ma gli investitori non vogliono complicazioni e tasse asfissianti, perciò finché in Italia ci sarà questa stretta sul settore crypto, vedremo tanti altri investitori guardare altrove.

In the first two quarters of 2025, crypto holders went from 1.7M to 1.4M.

It was predictable! And I think the numbers will continue to decline.

In recent years, the environment has become really tough:
The €2,000 threshold is gone.
Taxes at 26%.
From 2026, it’s expected to rise to 33%.

In 2025, with new rules, regulatory uncertainty, and fiscal pressure, it’s normal that some users disappear - maybe occasional investors or those less informed.

Unfortunately, our government has chosen not to embrace the crypto sector. I understand - it’s complicated to grasp something that’s impossible to fully and easily control.

And we know that Bitcoin was created to exist outside that perimeter.

The hope is that these rules won’t kill the sector… maybe they’ll push people toward more self-custody and offshore structures.

I believe in Bitcoin, but keeping up with crypto in our country is becoming stressful.
That’s why I’m thinking more and more about self-custody.
It definitely requires more personal responsibility and awareness since we’re the ones managing our passwords.

It’s a real challenge!
The government can raise taxes. It can tighten rules.
But it can’t extinguish an idea born to be decentralized.

And I believe that anyone who chooses to stay, despite everything, is more convinced, structured, and attentive.

Maybe, rather than witnessing a flight of crypto holders, we’re seeing a natural selection within the sector.

Of course, it’s a shame that instead of growing, the Italian crypto sector is losing capital.

But investors don’t want complications and crushing taxes.
So, as long as Italy keeps tightening rules on crypto, we’ll continue to see many investors look elsewhere.
