Ciao a tutti amici e amiche di Italy e di Steemit.

Oggi Bitcoin compie 17 anni.
3 gennaio 2009. Il Genesis Block.
Fa strano pensarci, soprattutto se sei nel mercato da un po’.

Perché diciamolo: non è più nemmeno il mercato di 17 anni fa e nemmeno quello che abbiamo amato nel 2021.

Una volta sembrava tutto più semplice:
halving → bull run → altseason → euforia → crash.
Più o meno sempre lo stesso film. Ma funzionava così.

Negli ultimi anni invece qualcosa è cambiato.
Lo so, mi ripeto, ultimamente dico sempre il mercato crypto è maturato.
Ma è quello che sta accadendo!
I cicli non sono spariti, ma non sono più quelli a cui eravamo abituati, non sono più così estremi.

Mettiamoci la presenza di più istituzionali e la maggiore interconnessione con i mercati tradizionali.
Insomma , c'è meno spazio per le scorciatoie.

Non c'è più spazio per le shitcoin!

Il 2025, secondo me, ha chiarito un’altra cosa importante:
non basta più una bella idea o una narrativa forte.

Oggi resistono davvero solo i progetti che:
– hanno utilità reale
– generano cash flow
– sono usati veramente e non sono solo raccontati

Tutto il resto prima o poi si sgonfia.

Bitcoin, a 17 anni, non promette più miracoli.
Promette di esistere anche quando passa la moda, di reggere anche quando il mercato è noioso, di premiare chi ha pazienza e un minimo di studio.

Forse è meno entusiasmante.
Ma... eccomi di nuovo sottolineare che è molto più maturo.

E forse anche noi, pur lamentandoci ricordando con nostalgia i cicli passati, se siamo ancora qui vuol dire che siamo cresciuti insieme a Bitcoin!

Qualcuno la pensa come me? Certo stiamo ancora metabolizzando il cambiamento, ma siamo ancora qui a tenere duro!

It feels strange to think about it, especially if you’ve been in this market for a while.

Because let’s be honest: it’s not just different from 17 years ago, it’s not even the market we fell in love with in 2021.

Back then everything felt simpler:
halving → bull run → altseason → euphoria → crash.
More or less the same movie every time. And it worked like that.

In recent years, though, something has changed.
I know, I keep saying it, but the crypto market has matured. That’s just what’s happening.

Cycles haven’t disappeared, but they’re no longer the ones we were used to, and they’re not as extreme anymore.
Add to that more institutional players and stronger connections with traditional markets.
Bottom line: there’s much less room for shortcuts.

And honestly?
There’s no more room for shitcoins.

In my opinion, 2025 made another thing very clear:
a good idea or a strong narrative is no longer enough.

Today, only projects that:
– have real utility
– generate cash flow
– are actually used, not just talked about

can truly survive.

Everything else eventually deflates.

At 17 years old, Bitcoin no longer promises miracles.
It promises to exist when the hype is gone,
to hold up when the market is boring,
to reward patience and a bit of study.

Maybe it’s less exciting.
But once again, it’s much more mature.

And maybe we are too.
Even if we complain and nostalgically remember past cycles, if we’re still here, it means we’ve grown alongside Bitcoin.

Does anyone feel the same?
We’re still processing this change, but we’re still here, holding on.
