Pentris e le lenti nuove/Pentris and new glasses

Rieccoci con una nuova partita a Pentris. Quantomeno l'ultima del mese. E udite, udite...la bellezza di 25 punti (vabbè, qui si ride per non piangere😂)😂😂😂😂. Dato che la mia penultima partita aveva contato 23 punti, due punticini in più saranno forse meglio di niente😂. Segue il print screen dello strumento di cattura:



Niente da fare, mi manca la velocità necessaria per l'uso dei tool: sono proprio cotta e spompata, a dispetto delle lenti nuove (e si, dato che ho dovuto rifare le lenti)😂. La nuova visita ortottica di venerdì scorso se n'è venuta con una notizia buona e una cattiva. Come al solito, iniziamo da quella cattiva, che comunque mi aspettavo: l'occhio sinistro ha perso parecchio negli ultimi due anni e infatti da vicino vedo poco e niente, oramai. Per meglio dire: distinguo ancora le figure, ma non i contorni e la visione periferica sembra stia andando a farsi benedire. Inoltre l'occhio sinistro è sempre astigmatico. Per contro, l'astigmatismo dell'occhio destro è sparito, da lontano vedo bene con quest'occhio e la vista da vicino è rimasta uguale (ok, senza occhiali comunque non leggo e non posso lavorare, dato che l'ipermetropia è comunque presente). Grazie a Dio nessun segnale di cataratta, neppure dall'occhio sinistro. E se non altro, adesso con le lenti apposite per vederci da vicino riesco a lavorare su netbook senza strabuzzare gli occhi e con le multifocali (per queste ultime niente da fare: ho dovuto rifare pure la montatura) si spera mi riescano meglio gli esercizi da capoeira, nei quali mi auguro risultati migliori che a Pentris😂. Saranno magari gli anni che avanzano (la freschezza della gioventù vien meno a ogni anno che passa: il destino di tutti, niente da fare😂), ma dubito che mi riesca di andare oltre qualche punticino in più a ogni nuova partita. Il giochino in ogni caso continua a piacermi indipendentemente dai numeri che mi riesce di fare.

Here we are again with a new game of Pentris. At least, the last one of the month. And listen up, everyone... the beauty of 25 points (well, we're laughing so we don't cry😂)😂😂😂😂. Since my penultimate game scored 23 points, two more points are perhaps better than nothing😂. Here is the print screen from the capture tool of my netbook:



No way, I don't have the speed needed to use the tools: I'm really tired and exhausted (cause real life challenges), despite my new lenses (and yes, I had to get new lenses)😂. Last Friday's new orthoptic examination brought good news and bad news. As usual, let's start with the bad news, which I was expecting anyway: my left eye has deteriorated significantly over the last two years and, in fact, I can hardly see anything up close now. To be more precise: I can still make out shapes, but not their contours, and my peripheral vision seems to be going down the drain. In addition, my left eye is still astigmatic. On the other hand, the astigmatism in my right eye has disappeared, I can see well with this eye from a distance and my close-up vision has remained the same (OK, without glasses I still can't read or work, as I'm still dealing with hyperopia). Thanks God there are no signs of cataracts, not even in my left eye. And if nothing else, now with specific lenses for close-up vision, I can work on my netbook without straining my eyes, and with multifocal lenses (for the latter, there was nothing to be done: I had to redo the frames as well, in addition to the lenses), hopefully I'll be better at capoeira exercises, in which I hope for better results than at Pentris😂. Maybe it's the advancing years (the freshness of youth fades with each passing year: everyone's fate, nothing to be done about it😂), but I doubt I'll be able to go beyond a few more points with each new game. In any way, I still enjoy the game regardless of the numbers I manage to score.
