As a Muslim woman I'm honoring this World Hijab day on first February. Hijab is not only a dressing style that represent a Muslim lady with the religion Islam, but also a safeguard for we women. This is not something only for Muslim women, non-Muslim women also can feel free to wear hijab if they want. This could be rare but exist that non-Muslim ladies wore hijab because they loved it.

World hijab day remind me something from my childhood when I was a little kid. A non-Muslim lady came to visit our house wearing hijab with burqa. When she were asked why she loves to have this dressing, she told us that she feels safe in it. Women abuse is very common in different sector or work or institution and hijab can be a protection for women.

Hijab not only protect us from abuse or harassment but also protect our head/scalp and hair from dirt and pollution of outside. It feels comfortable for long time and no need to set hair again and again. It save hair from UV ray and other harmful elements outside. Personally I love wearing hijab when go outside, I'm comfortable and used to wear it.

World Hijab Day is observed every year on February 1 to honor Muslim women who wear the hijab. It is also a day to urge women of various origins and beliefs to try on the hijab and see what it is like to wear it. Muslim women maintain their modesty by wearing the hijab. Come donna musulmana, il primo febbraio celebrerò la Giornata Mondiale dell'Hijab. L'hijab non è solo uno stile di abbigliamento che rappresenta una donna musulmana di religione islamica, ma anche una protezione per noi donne. Non è una prerogativa esclusiva delle donne musulmane: anche le donne non musulmane possono sentirsi libere di indossarlo se lo desiderano. Potrebbe essere raro, ma è capitato che le donne non musulmane indossassero l'hijab perché lo amavano.

La Giornata Mondiale dell'Hijab mi ha ricordato un momento della mia infanzia, quando ero bambina. Una donna non musulmana venne a trovarci a casa indossando l'hijab con il burqa. Quando le chiesero perché amasse indossare questo indumento, ci rispose che si sentiva al sicuro. Gli abusi sulle donne sono molto comuni in diversi settori, lavori o istituzioni e l'hijab può essere una protezione per le donne.

L'hijab non solo ci protegge da abusi o molestie, ma protegge anche la nostra testa, il nostro cuoio capelluto e i nostri capelli da sporco e inquinamento esterno. È comodo da indossare a lungo e non c'è bisogno di sistemare i capelli più e più volte. Protegge i capelli dai raggi UV e da altri elementi nocivi esterni. Personalmente adoro indossare l'hijab quando esco, mi sento a mio agio e lo indosso da sempre.

La Giornata Mondiale dell'Hijab si celebra ogni anno il 1° febbraio per onorare le donne musulmane che indossano l'hijab. È anche un giorno per incoraggiare le donne di diverse origini e credenze a provare l'hijab e a vedere cosa si prova a indossarlo. Le donne musulmane mantengono la loro modestia indossando l'hijab. Molte lo usano anche per proteggersi dalle molestie maschili. Scopri di più
