Happy world peace and understanding day to all peace lovers in this world. The history, aim and source behind this day is already known to you, if you don't know yet and wants to know more you can follow the source I've share in this post. Nice to know the international organization Rotary club belongs to this day observation. I'm familiar with Rotary club since my childhood days because my father was a member of the local Rotary club organization.

My discussion topic will be all about peace and understanding and that's why I find this topic interesting to talk. Peace of mind is precious especially when we can see the mess and chaos around us. It's hard for many to have peace of mind when the environment isn't peaceful and full of noise. My source of peace is prayers and I would love to include it in my everyday life. Not necessary that our source of peace will be same. Prayer works for me and this can be source of peace for many.

Understanding is also connected with the peace. Just think, the person you love don't understand you, will you find peace when people around you doesn't understand you or misunderstand you most of the time? Definitely not! People who matters to you, you expect them to understand you and they can bring peace too. But personally I believe, we shouldn't depend on someone for having peace of mind, we can find our own way to have peace of mind!

World Peace and Understanding Day takes place on February 23 every year. This day is actually a commemoration of the first meeting of Rotary that was held. This meeting of businessmen, which aimed to be a space where their backgrounds didn’t matter, started the chain of events that led to the formation of Rotary International. Learn More

Buona giornata mondiale della pace e della comprensione a tutti gli amanti della pace in questo mondo. La storia, l'obiettivo e l'origine di questa giornata vi sono già noti, se non lo sapete ancora e volete saperne di più potete seguire la fonte che ho condiviso in questo post. È bello sapere che l'organizzazione internazionale Rotary Club partecipa a questa giornata. Conosco il Rotary Club fin da bambino, perché mio padre era membro dell'organizzazione locale del Rotary Club.

Il mio argomento di discussione sarà tutto sulla pace e la comprensione, ed è per questo che trovo questo argomento interessante. La pace mentale è preziosa, soprattutto quando possiamo vedere il disordine e il caos intorno a noi. È difficile per molti trovare la pace mentale quando l'ambiente non è tranquillo e pieno di rumore. La mia fonte di pace sono le preghiere e mi piacerebbe includerle nella mia vita quotidiana. Non è necessario che la nostra fonte di pace sia la stessa. La preghiera funziona per me e può essere fonte di pace per molti.

Anche la comprensione è collegata alla pace. Pensa solo, la persona che ami non ti capisce, troverai pace quando le persone intorno a te non ti capiscono o ti fraintendono la maggior parte del tempo? Assolutamente no! Le persone a cui tieni ti aspettano che ti capiscano e che possano anche portarti pace. Ma personalmente credo che non dovremmo dipendere da qualcuno per avere pace mentale, possiamo trovare il nostro modo per averla!

La Giornata Mondiale della Pace e della Comprensione si celebra ogni anno il 23 febbraio. Questa giornata è in realtà una commemorazione della prima riunione del Rotary. Questo incontro di imprenditori, che mirava a creare un luogo in cui il loro background non contasse, diede il via alla catena di eventi che portò alla fondazione del Rotary International.
