শুভ বাংলা নববর্ষ : ১৪৩৩ | Happy Bangla New Year : 1433

Shuvo Nobororsho from Bangladesh. We Bengali nation has our Bengali or Bangla new year. I've shared the title in Bangla to highlight my belonging. Yeah, I belong to Bengali nation and I feel proud of it. Bengali is well know for being a brave nation and our history represent us as bravest.

The first day of a new year worth celebrating and it's a happy day for us. We are celebrating pr welcoming 1433 year of Bengali year and many of us celebrating it traditionally to hold the traditional beauty we still have in our country.

Here sharing some photos that representing the celebration of our new year. We have traditional colorful clothes to celebrate or welcome our new year. Red, yellow and white is most highlighted outfit as sari which is the Bengali women wear and very popular too.

This is not only the beginning of a new year but also the beginning of summer in our country. Today it was hot and I get sweated for the hot weather. Though I wish spring could linger, it's time to welcome summer.

How was my first day of a new year? It was great as I had some grocery shopping and had delicious lunch. It was pilaf rice with chicken and it was delicious. According to new year tradition many people eat our national fish on this day and ilish/hilsha fish is the fish that took part in our tradition.

When I were a kid, we celebrated this day absolutely traditionally as my mom cooked delicious hilsha fish and made several items like fish fry, fish curry and so on. Those days are now just a memory. I had delicious foods today but it was not something traditional. Anyway, I wish this new year bring endless blessings in our life.
