Pitha And Flat Breads - 📣 ✨ THE BEST FOOD POST ✨ 📣WEEK #179

in Italyyesterday
Greetings Everyone, This is SHOHANA From #Bangladesh

Welcome to food fun story of this week. Just tried to share something different than usual though many of you should be familiar with these pitha and flat breads as I've shared it many times in my food blogs.

This week's theme planned by me and all these foods are my own captured. First two photos were taken last week when I was passing the footpath. These oily pithas taste yummy. In our villages these pithas and flat breads are homemade maximum time but in cities these can be found as street food.

In this food post I've added two photos looks similar but those are different type of flat breads. Paratha is flat bread that fried using soyabean oil and Dosa is also flat bread that I made myself at home as my shortcut breakfast. Dosa made of liquid flour and paratha made of dough and that's the difference. Usually I buy paratha from outside for a breakfast. Have a look on my food photographs for this week-

Homemade Dosa/Dhapra pitha with an egg

First two photos are presenting traditional cakes or pitha. Tel pitha or oily cake is deep fried in soyabean oil and chitoi pitha is dry but delicious with special spicy masala or chutney and that also served by street pitha sellers. It's too spicy and people who loves spicy foods can enjoy chitoi pitha with spicy chutney.

Third and forth photo is my very own breakfast as you can see them with an egg and my plate is made of steal. An egg for breakfast is my regular routine meal but I replace bread with rice maximum time. Dosa is easy to prepare so I often prepare this as my short cut breakfast. It taste good and sometimes I use clarified butter/Ghee to fry it and it taste super delicious.

That's all for this week, hope you foodies like my food photographs. These are not so appealing but taste really good. I love to taste them often as pitha carry our local food tradition and we try to hold our tradition by feeding, serving and selling these. Eat healthy and delicious foods, take care.
