Greetings Everyone, This is SHOHANA From #Bangladesh

Almost forgot to share my food post for this week. Suddenly I recall it and I'm not late for this luckily. Here I come with my recent food story and these photos are my recently capture food photo collection. I've many in my gallery but as you know I try to follow the theme and this week's theme is again traditional sweets and cakes. All are delicious and sweet.

Many of you know that I've sweet tooth and I eat sugary foods most of the time. But I rarely eat traditional sweets. This week's sweet traditional food menu are, Yellow Laddu, Motichur laddu, kalojam and malpua pancakes. All carrying our traditional charm and we love them having occasionally.

Malpua is a kind of homemade pancake, no wonder that bakery added this item for city people as we hardly get time to prepare this kind of traditional pancake at home. Dhaka is the busiest city and people here busy to build their career so whenever they need to taste something homemade they can buy pancakes like malpua, it carries traditional flavor.

Have a look on food photography this week---

Let me talk about other items though this is not my first time food blog on traditional sweets. Many of you should be familiar with these sweets that represent our tradition very well. Kalojam is soft and Sponge, most of the sweet lovers love to have it for it's softness. Such an awesome item as comfort food or dessert. I personally like this but prefer eating in a moderation.

Motichur laddu is more commonly found sweet in India though we also have it occasionally. Hindu community people use this sweet item on their worship events. We eat it as desert item. It taste good and belongs to our tradition as well. Yellow laddu kinda looks like motichur laddu but these are different by taste. I'm familiar with the taste of both and both are too good to eat.

That's all for this week. I've a good collection of food photographs and aim to add more in near future. I often visit bakeries in my city and I usually buy different kinds of chocolates. Sometimes for a change I also taste our traditional sweets but that's rare. I'm a sweet lover but I can't eat a lot of sweets at a time, my stomach can't digest much, LOL. Hope you find this food post full of fun!
