Hello Steemians,
Welcome back to another exciting update in my Pentris daily gameplay series on SteemRetroGames. Today marks Day 16, and honestly, this session turned out far better than I expected. What started off as a shaky beginning ended with not one but two brand-new high score records. So let me walk you through how the day went.

First Play

Score — 194

My first run of the day was honestly rough. Everything felt off — slow reactions, wrong placements, and my stacking wasn’t clean. It was one of those starts that usually kills momentum. But instead of stopping, I decided to push through the frustration and keep going.

Sometimes a bad start is exactly what reminds us why consistency is important.

Second Play

Score — 1631 — New High Score

This was where things took a sharp turn.
Almost like a reset button was clicked, I suddenly found my rhythm again. Piece placement was crisp, rotations were quick, and the board stayed clean for longer. Before I knew it, I hit 1631, breaking my previous best.

At this point, I was already satisfied — but the day wasn’t done yet.

Third Play

Score — 2080 — Newest High Score Record

This run felt smooth from start to finish. Every move connected perfectly.
No panic, no hesitation — just pure focus.

Hitting 2080 felt like a milestone that represented more than just gameplay. It proved something important:

It’s never about how you start, but how you finish.
Consistency always pays off.

And today, that consistency led me to smashing two new records in a single day.

Final Thoughts

Day 16 taught me that even the worst beginning can lead to the best outcome if you keep grinding. Progress doesn’t always show up immediately — sometimes you need to push through the slow days to reach a breakthrough.

I’m proud of today’s performance, and I’m even more motivated for Day 17.
Thanks to everyone following this series — your support keeps me going.
