Thanksgiving day サンクスギビングデー
\n\nToday is Thanksgiving day which is a national holiday in the US and Canada.\nI cooked with my husband's mom all of the dishes for Thanksgiving. We were supposed to start at 6 in the morning but It was hard to wake up. I woke up at 6 :( We went to my husband's parent's house as soon as possible anyway!\n\n今日はサンクスギビングデーでアメリカ、カナダの祝日です。\n私は、旦那さんのお母さんとサンクスギビングの料理を全部作りました。\n朝６時から始める予定だったのですが、全然起きれなくて、６時に起きてしまいました。(_ _;)\nとにかく急いで旦那さんの実家に向かいます！\n\n
\n\nIt's rainy this morning. I haven't seen rain for almost a half year though.\nWe got there before 7am. His mom was about to make banana pudding.\n\n今朝はめずらしく雨が降っていました。雨なんて半年くらい見ていなかったのに。\n7時前に旦那さんの実家に着きました。お義母さんはバナナプディングを作っているところでした。\n\n
\n\nI started to help her;)\nWe made dirty rice and pumpkin pies first.\n\nお義母さんの手伝いを始めました。\n最初にダーティライスとパンプキンパイ。\n\n
\n\nCheese macaroni\nチーズマカロニ\n\n
\n\nDressing\nドレッシング\n\n
\n\nSweet potatoes\nスィートポテト\n\n
\n\nTurkey!!\nターキー！！\n\n
\n\nWe finished around 12pm.\nお昼12時頃終わりました。\n\n

Dirty rice、初めて聞きました。アメリカ南部の料理なんですね。さすがにこちらでは見たことありません。そう言えば、今日はBlack Friday ですね。こっちでも、あちこちでセールしてます (^^)v

私も旦那に会うまで食べた事はなかったのですが、旦那の家族はDirty riceが大好きです。挽肉やエビ、ウィンナーがたっぷり入ってスパイスが効いています。そうですねー！こちらは明日がブラックフライデーです。何か買おうかな(^^♪

そうか、そっちはまだ木曜日なんですね。調べてみると、LAとオーストラリアのメルボルン、19時間も時差があるようです (￣∇￣|||)
おー！オーストラリアと日本はほとんど時差がないんですね。良いなぁ。
