What does everyone think of Jeff Berwick / Dollar Vigilante?
So, I like Jeff Berwick. I really do. I find him very interesting and he's obviously very smart.
But here's my problem.
He has a beef with a bunch of other people I also like. Berwick hates Trump. Berwick hates Peter Schiff. Berwick just got into this beef with Robert Kiyosaki:
So eventually you have to wonder, is Berwick the problem?
I have a personal mantra that when I notice one person can never hold a job, or never get along with other people, and the pattern is always that everyone else is wrong but them, it's usually a RED FLAG that the problem actually lies with that person and not the rest of the world.
Your thoughts?
Love to hear what everyone else thinks.
Berwick: good guy or disagreeable redass?
I think @JeffBerwick is an independent type of guy who maybe doesn't get along well with others. But - why is that a bad thing? He is his own person, and he obviously realizes that because he has his own work-from-home-gig. Why is the world we live in today so quick to throw out stereotypes? I am fairly conservative politically - and I don't like Trump. But, let's be real with ourselves, nobody voted for Trump because they liked him. Don't forget! The alternative was even worse. Land of the free home of the "lesser of two devils." Especially if you call yourself a Christian, remember: We are to be in the world - not of the world. In the greater scheme of things - Trump doesn't matter. But your actions matter. Even I myself am working to remove the log from my own eye. Not everyone was made to fit the "9-5 - work-like-a-slave mold" Let's see what one another is capable of, versus picking apart faults. Cheers.
I voted for Trump because I like him. I wish I could vote for him 100 more times!
Good for you...try not to let your political zeal cloud the reality in front of you. It's not about party - its about actions and results. Don't get me wrong, Hillary is a freak who should never have even made her way onto the ballet. But, So far Trump has only delivered a tiny fraction of his campaign promises. If he had I might have moved back to the US by now.
Dem vs. Rep has always been pure fiction. Trump ran as a republican, but he's really his own man which is why we all love him. If you can't see that he's in the battle of his life against the Deep State globalist shadow government, and you think it's about republican vs. democrat, then you're missing the boat in a huge way.
Trump has a couple foxes in the rabbit hutch, namely his son-in-law and his vice-president. Even if he does start to "be his own person" I'm pretty sure we are going to see things play out like they did with LBJ and JFK - where Pence will be the globalist replacement for Trump if he gets out of line. We can't follow Trump so blindly, he is only one person and people make mistakes, they cave and they let us down. The only solution is to keep our eyes on the cross and keep following Christ above and beyond anything the government tries to say or dictate which isn't in line with our first and foremost.

I Think He Is Great!!! LOVE THAT GUY!!!! AHHH YEAHH!!!
I can appreciate most of what @jeffberwick has to say and I know why he says what he does. We are convicted at a very young age to try and take care of those smaller, younger and less able. Here we find the 10yo big Brother warning his younger siblings about life's matters which can cause them harm.
These warnings continue through our whole life and at the age of 40 something Mr Berwick feels the need to warn that group of people who are just entering into the age bracket he just left about all the hard lessons he had to learn the hard way because he himself did not listen to those who tried to warn him in a similar manner.
So here I am at 62 thinking how people just never seem to want to listen and how they would rather learn the hard way, myself included. So I think that I could help Mr Berwick with some of his struggles, but he wouldn't listen to me. He has never listened to anyone else. He just has to learn the hard way. His past speaks for it's self in evidence.
Of what he says, I believe about 75% of it might ring true, or at least more than half. But the rest is just plain Bull Shit, he goes off on these rants saying what he thinks people want to hear. After all he has a reputation to live up to and that is what pays his bills. So I believe that he is mostly being genuine, but one must carefully glean the wisdom from among all the crap.
Mr Berwick wants always to be in charge, he sets himself above most others as he perceives himself to be quite intelligent. Seldom does he ever offer evidence in which to backup anything he says and that is his downfall. That is the reason he doesn't have a greater following then he does.
During interviews I have notice that he constantly is fidgeting around as seemingly paying no attention to his moderator or guest in what they are saying. An aura of impatience as he prepares hi well rehearsed responses which often run the gamut as opposed to being on topic.
But I know what he is going through lately as he tries to clean up his life, never a simple task. So I cut him loads of slack and wish him well.
Full Steem Ahead,
Ely
