Eh... Splinterlands Boy and Splinterlands Girls? Anyway! Everyone who is reading this post. Since the new letters came out we have all been in the expectation of how much they will offer or how much we can learn from them. Yes, I'm talking about the UNTAMED. But, we can't forget either, that until recently a few Rewards were replaced by other (goodbye, Ruler of the Sea ).

And among those new cards, we find ... Oh, you know by the image below! Yes, to Gelatinous Cube. So beautiful that card, I love her. Do we proceed to analyze it?

Card type NEUTRAL.

Now, do you remember the peaceful giant beta? This new card has been replacing it in the Rewards version, but it is more than enough. In the first instance, it is unquestionable to see the level of power or strategy that could be given in battle.

So, to understand a little more, let's make some basic differences:

Once discarded the peaceful giant, which for me, would be the origin, let's see the pros and cons of the Gelatinous Cube:

PROS:

• It is NEUTRAL, which means you can use it with all the Splinter you have. As long as there is the Taking Side rule, as this does not allow the use of monster Neutrals in battle:

• Due to its 3 abilities it turns it into a great wall what to tear down.

1. BUTCHER: He gets 1 health point every time a monster dies: this great power distinguishes it from many cards, because it heals, so to speak, with the death of some monster, be it Friend or Enemy and that particularity It makes you give more value.

2. HEAL: Restore 2 health points in each round: if we add this to the previous ability ... Does it make it a God? Yes. This letter must have been legendary.

3. EMPTY: Reduces the magic attack: it makes it even stronger against magic, especially for the beta water summoner Alric.

• Under mana to invoke it. Usually this card for all the value that it entails, should have had 8 mana. But whoever currently owns it makes it much more accessible in battle.

• A high number of life, among the majority of cards. This added to his first two powers, could heal and have so much life, like a vampire with Bloodsucker.

CONS:

• Hahaha, just kidding. Well, the only bad thing, and it's not that bad in itself, is that it has low speed and practically dodging an attack becomes Null. Although I could do it, but it would be very difficult.

POSSIBLE STRATEGIES:

PRINCE JULIAN

At the last minute I decided to put it, because it is so eccentric that it deserves to attract even more attention. First, first: the price:

PRICE: 998.00$	PRICE: 20,000$

Currently (12/28/2019) is at that price and is listed as the most expensive card in all Splinterlands. For this reason only 1 copy in each category is sold: normal and gold. @splinterlands definitely houses one of the largest gold mines in the entire Blockchain and I risk saying that all games based on it.

The value of this cryptoactive far exceeds the cryptokitties of ETH (already obsolete, by the way, everyone prefers Splinterlands).

NOW, Why its high value?

• He is a LEGENDARY DRAGON summoner.
• Costs 2 mana.
• Only comes out in the Orbs you buy, that is, they belong to the Promo cards.
• Remove a life point. Perhaps it is not something important, but if we have a monster that does the same, it would be 2 points of life less towards the enemy. Now the perspective changes much more, doesn't it?
• Because he's cute, he's a beautiful baby and he's a prince hahaha.

SKIN STORE FOR PLAYERS ARTISTS OF @SPLINTERLANDS:

This is something that has been making me noise for many weeks. We know that within the game @splinterlands there is a shop specifically for Skins. For those who do not know or are not aware, practically the skin is another different illustration of the same monster, with another style and perspective.

And well, while it is true that I almost never find players using these skins on their monsters, then it would be a good opportunity to implement this feature. And of course, some skins are expensive, especially for those of us in minor leagues because we don't earn much DEC in battles haha.

NOW, WHY DO I GET THIS TO RELATE?

While it is true that many of Steemit's artists, players of @splinterlands, participate in their art, music or writing competitions, with the purpose of winning some prize and being able to draw a valuable card ... is not that We transcend beyond that.

In itself, a great opportunity has always existed for the Illustrators. How? That of the Art we create for @splinterlands be considered as Skins to sell in that store. For this, of course, several rules would be established:

• One sets the price and the game keeps a certain percentage of the purchase, as a commission.
• Only digital art and at a certain minimum resolution.
• Be evaluated by the game for later sale in the store.

Believe me that if so, I would be locked in my room for a whole month and create the art of each letter in my style until all the cards that exist haha were completed, I would be very excited. Of course, I mention this so as not to offend or discard the art that the cards of the game already have, but as a form of business and more active crypto movements. It would be great to see my Art as the skin of some monsters, use them and see them in other players.

For the rest, it is a pretty good idea for us illustrators ... If one day they decide to do it, I would be even more in love with the game than I am already obsessed.

Eh... ¿Splinterlianos y Splinterlianas? ¡En fin! Todos los que estén leyendo este post. Desde que salieron las nuevas cartas todos hemos estado a la expectativa de qué tanto ofrecerán o qué tanto podemos aprender de estas. Sí, hablo de las UNTAMED. Pero, tampoco nos podemos olvidar, que hasta hace poco unas cuantas Rewards fueron sustituidas por otras (adiosito, Ruler of the Sea 😭).

Y entre esas nuevas, nos encontramos a... ¡Ay, ya lo saben por la imagen de abajo! Si, al Gelatinous Cube. Tan bella esa carta, la amo. ¿Procedemos a analizarla?

Carta tipo NEUTRAL.

Ahora, ¿se acuerdan del gigante pacífico beta? Esta nueva carta viene sustituyéndola en versión Rewards pero con creces. En primera instancia, es indudable ver el nivel de poder o estrategia que podría dar en batalla.

Entonces, para entender un poco más, hagamos unas diferencias básicas:

Tiene 3 habilidades	No tiene habilidades

LISTO, la gran diferencia a simple vista entre ambos.

Una vez descartado el gigante pacífico, que para mí, vendría siendo el origen, vamos a ver los pros y contras del Gelatinous Cube:

PROS:

• Es NEUTRAL, lo que significa que lo puedes usar con todos los Splinter que tengas. Siempre y cuando existe la regla Taking Side, pues esta no permite el uso de monstruo Neutrales en batalla:

• Debido a sus 3 habilidades la convierte en un gran muro qué derribar.

1. CARROÑERO: Obtiene 1 punto de salud cada vez que un monstruo muere: este gran poder la distingue de muchas cartas, pues se cura, por así decirlo, con la muerte de algún monstruo, ya sea Amigo o Enemigo y esa particularidad le hace dar más valor.

2. SANAR: Restaura 2 puntos de salud en cada ronda: si a la habilidad anterior, le sumamos esta... ¿La convierte en un Dios? Si. Esta carta debió ser legendaria.

3. VACÍO: Reduce el ataque mágico: lo hace aún más fuerte contra la magia, sobre todo para el invocador de agua beta Alric.

• Bajo maná para invocarla. Usualmente esta carta por todo el valor que conlleva, debería haber tenido 8 de maná. Pero el que posee actualmente la hace mucho más accesible en batalla.

• Un número alto de vida, entre las mayorías de cartas. Esto sumado a sus dos primeros poderes, podría curarse y tener tanta vida, como un vampiro con Chupasangre.

CONTRAS:

• Ninguna.

• Jajaja, es broma. Pues lo único malo, y no es tan malo en sí, es que tiene poca velocidad y prácticamente esquivar un ataque se hace Nulo. Aunque podría hacerlo, pero sería muy difícil.

POSIBLES ESTRATEGIAS:

• En la regla Target Practice: les recuerdo que esa regla hace que todos los monstruos de rango de ataque lejano, sea magia o arqueros, ataquen al de la segunda posición. Lo ideal sería ponerla en este sitio, ya que esta será la posición más vulnerable en esta regla.

• En la regla Super Sneak: pues queda demás decir, que todos los de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo atacarán al último y este Gelatinous Cube sería un gran muro protector.

EL PRÍNCIPE JULIAN

A última hora decidí ponerla, pues es tan excéntrica que merece llamar aún más la atención. Primero, lo primero: el precio:

PRECIO: 998.00$	PRECIO: 20,000$

Actualmente (28/12/2019) está en ese precio y se cataloga como la carta más costosa de todo Splinterlands. Por tal motivo solo están en venta 1 ejemplar en cada categoría: normal y dorado. @splinterlands definitivamente alberga una de las minas de oro más grande de toda la Blockchain y me arriesgo a decir, que todos los juegos basados en esta.

El valor de este cryptoactivo supera por mucho, a los cryptokitties de ETH (ya obsoleto, por cierto, todos prefieren Splinterlands).

AHORA, ¿por qué su alto valor?

• Es un invocador LEGENDARIO DRAGÓN.
• Cuesta 2 de maná.
• Solo sale en los Orbes que compres, es decir, pertenecen a las cartas Promo.
• Quita un punto de vida. Quizás no es la gran cosa, pero si tenemos un monstruo que haga lo mismo, serían 2 puntos de vida menos hacia el enemigo. Ahora cambia mucho más la perspectiva, ¿no?
• Porque es lindo, es un bebé hermoso y es un príncipe jajaja.

TIENDA DE PIELES PARA ARTISTAS JUGADORES DE @SPLINTERLANDS:

Esto es algo que desde hace muchas semanas me ha estado haciendo ruido. Sabemos que dentro del juego @splinterlands existen una tienda específicamente para Pieles. Para los que no saben o no están al tanto, prácticamente la piel es otra ilustración diferente del mismo monstruo, con otro estilo y perspectiva.

Y bueno, si bien es cierto que casi nunca me encuentro jugadores usando estas pieles en sus monstruos, entonces sería una buena oportunidad de implementar esta característica. Y claro, algunas pieles son costosas, sobre todo para los que estamos en ligas menores porque no ganamos mucho DEC en batallas jaja.

AHORA, ¿POR QUÉ SACO ESTO A RELUCIR?

Si bien es cierto que muchos de los artistas de Steemit, jugadores de @splinterlands, participamos en sus concursos de arte, música o escritura, con el propósito de ganar algún premio y poder sacar una carta valiosa... tampoco es que transcendemos más allá de eso.

En sí, una gran oportunidad siempre ha existido para los Ilustradores. ¿Cómo? Que del Arte que creamos para @splinterlands sea considerado como Pieles para vender en esa tienda. Para esto, claro está, se establecería varias normas:

• Uno dispone el precio y el juego se queda con cierto porcentaje de la compra, a modo de comisión.
• Solo arte digital y a cierta resolución mínima.
• Ser Evaluado por el juego para su posterior venta en la tienda.

Créanme que si es así, estaría encerrado en mi habitación durante todo un mes y crearía el arte de cada carta a mi estilo hasta que se completaran todas las cartas que existen jaja, estaría muy emocionado. Por supuesto, menciono esto para no ofender o descartar el arte que ya tienen las cartas del juego, sino como una forma de negocio y de más movimientos de crypto activos. Sería genial ver mi Arte como piel de algunos monstruos, usarlos y verlos en otros jugadores.

De resto, es una idea bastante buena para nosotros los ilustradores... Si algún día deciden hacerlo, estaría aun más enamorado del juego de lo ya obsesionado que estoy 🙏.
