Spiritual life with Jesus: And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us. 1 John 3:24

The epistles of the apostle John are very similar in their writing style to the gospel of the same apostle, except that the epistles are not focused on describing the life and the actions of the divine master, but on teaching the spiritual content of the doctrine of the Kingdom of God, the dominion or government of the divine perfections.
And the first epistle of the apostle John develops, as if it were a sermon or a homily, various themes such as the teaching that God is light, the fulfillment of the commandments, the detachment from worldly things, and a special exhortation to live according to the love of God, the spiritual love, known in greek language as Agape.
And according to John's teachings, the subject of the spiritual Love is not a minor matter. John taught that the commandment of love is the supreme commandment because it neither forbids nor commands, but invites people to a new freedom; that is why this remarkable disciple of the Lord Jesus wrote with wisdom: "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us" 1 John 3:23.
This commandment is therefore something special. Believing in the name of Jesus, John taught, has special significance because the apostle explained that Jesus is the personification of divine perfections with the seven "I AM" statements; and to project the perfection of love towards one's neighbor and the world, the disciple added. The entire mystery of the Gospels lies in the teaching of this spiritual truth, and this is how believers can recognize the spiritual life with Jesus in their hearts, accepting all this. And so the apostle continued in his thought on how to become aware of the mystery of Jesus: "And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us" 1 John 3:24.
In short, accepting the mystery of the spirit of wisdom, that progressive, expansive, benevolent spirit, is to accept Jesus himself and his divinity, and it is in this way that believers can receive the ultimate reward, the spiritual gift of eternal life and the spiritual salvation that comes with that true spiritual life, the life, once obtained, cannot be lost.
