Katarolu (කටරොළු)

This is a very famous plant in Sri Lanka these days due to a number of reasons. Nil Katarolu is a herb with a blue flower which is used in lot of treatments. Roots , leaves, flowers, and seeds of Nil katarolu is used as medicine. Most of the time Nil Katarolu flower is used to make herbal drinks. But the whole plant can be considered as medicinal.
