IF I MUST HAVE A PET, I THINK I WOULD GO FOR FISH 🐠

Hello beautiful people and welcome to my interesting blog about pets. I’d start by being honest with us. I am not a pet person. If there’s someone who can live all her life without a pet, then I am one.

I don’t know if alot of people feel this way but I’ve never being someone to dream about having a dog, cat or any other kind of animal running round the house.

Please don’t get me wrong, I appreciate animals and also admire the people who do keep and take care of them a lot cos it requires a lot of dedication and love but for me to have one as a personal responsibility is an entirely different conversation for me.

I once visited my bestie and she has alot of dogs she trains. I bonded with them on my little time of stay but that wouldn’t change my stand of not wanting one 😂. I admire her courage and all but that would definitely not be me. Hope you get the point now.

However, if I were asked, "If you have a pet, what would it be and why? And if you don't have one, which pet are you looking to have?" I think I would go for fish. 🐠

WHY FISH 🐠
Well, first, I like the idea of having something beautiful and peaceful to look at without having to deal with so much noise or mess. I’d say a beautiful blue and pink fish would be just great. I do not know if there are any fishes that have that color combination.😁

Imagine coming home after the long days work and watching my colourful fish swimming peacefully in the aquarium. There’s something obviously peaceful about that scenario.

Unlike a dog that might bark, (obviously not in for the noise) or a pet that requires constant attention, fish seem like they could fit into my lifestyle and personality as someone who’s a fan of a quiet environment. I’d prefer a pet that won’t interfere much with my daily routines.

But then again to be frank, having a fish is not as easy as just buying an aquarium, filling it with water and putting in my colorful fish There is actually some level of responsibility involved.

I would have to ensure that the aquarium is properly set up, that the water is safe and also ensure that the fish received the right kind of food.

I would have to clean the tank regularly and also change the water once in a while. And also depending on the type of fish, I might need a filter, proper lighting, and a way to maintain the right water temperature.

So, even though fish might appear to be a low-maintenance option, they still require care and attention. And being that I'm not naturally a pet person. I would need to be double sure I will be willing to take on that responsibility.

I think what makes sense to me in keeping a fish would be the peaceful environment they could create.

I don’t want a pet that will constantly demand my attention or turns my house upside down. I would prefer something quiet, clean, and relatively easy to take care of.

Having said that, dear reader, I am curious about your choice. Some people love dogs because of their loyalty and companionship. Others love cats because of their independence. Some people enjoy birds, rabbits, or even more unusual pets. And honestly, I am intrigued with our different personalities and choices

So, let me ask you:
If you have a pet, what pet would it be and why? 🐕🐈🦜. And if you don't have one, which pet would you love to have someday?

Are you a pet lover, or are you like me, who would rather admire animals from a comfortable distance? 😂

Let's hear your thoughts in the comments.
