Let’s talk about forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of a prisoner only to find out that the prisoner is you. Forgiveness is actually selfish. How to I mean?

Forgiveness is selfish because it actually benefits the forgiver than the forgiven. When you forgive people or someone who offended you, you will find out that you ended up doing yourself a whole lot of good.

Sometime we say that we will never forgive people no matter what they say due to the hurt they have caused us. Well, I have heard people say this over and over again.

Some will even say over their dead body will thy forgive. No dear, you will not die and you will still forgive the people who hurt you.

For me I would even advise you go a step further. It’s called forbearance. I’d say that forbearance if the elder brother of forgiveness. That moment where we forgive people without them even asking for forgiveness.
