The dairy game 15/3/26; A quiet Sunday
Dear dairy,
I woke up and checked the time on my phone and it was past four in the morning. My alarm was supposed to wake me up by 5am but my body had other plans. No that I slept early but somehow my sleep wasn’t deep and a bit not too restful. These days sleep in the night has been somehow.
I sat up on my butt while still on the bed. Well, it’s time to pray. I spent sometime praying while leaning on the wall supporting my back with the pillow on the wall. After my prayers came the time for me to read my Bible.
I used the Bible app on my phone and spent sometime reading the scriptures. Just at about past six my dad called in. He we talked briefly and I told him I was about heading to church. He excused me and it was time to get up and get ready to go to church.
I had a quick bath and brushed. I hurriedly got dressed and went down to get my friend. Had to wait a little for her to get ready and soonest we were on our way. We used a public tricycle to get to our destination.
The transport fare has increased again. The commuters said that the price of fuel has increased again. The Iran and USA saga is affecting the global oil market. Well, we paid the increased fare and got to our destination.
We were a bit late as the communion service had already happened and soonest pastor came up for the first service ministration. It was succinct and uplifting.
The second service started ten minutes later with the choir ministration. W head time to dance and bask in the presence of God. Soonest it was testimony time and your truly had to testify to the goodness of God.
I was glad that I was alive in the land of the living and God has been faithful to me despite the set back and health challenges I encountered. I am an epitome of God’s grace and mercy.
After service, we had a workers meeting section to address key things in church administration followed by leaders meeting which lasted for a while. Pressing matters demand urgency.
have you seen a fine girl today?
After service I took some pictures with the help of a friend and it was time to head back home. We got home at about past 1pm and the next on my schedule was to cook lunch. We hadn’t eaten before going to church.
I prepared rice and warmed the beans we already had in the freezer. I also warmed the stew and we had rice and beans with fish stew. It was a delicious lunch . Just what I was craving.
I came back and had a nap. It was a needed nap. I had a little headache and had to teaks Tylenol on waking up. I breezed o to my blog to make a post.
After the post came another batch of hunger. I had to warm the rice we ate in the afternoon and ate rice again. It wasn’t what I would have loved to take but it was alredy late to make alternative plans as my post making took sometime.
I also had time to binge on a Netflix series while eating. After eating, the binging continued until past midnight. I knew it was time to sleep. To much late nights results to waking up late.
I logged out of Netflix, put my phone to charge, turned on my airplane mode and it was time to call it a night.
