The diarygame 28/3/26; “From Zero Motivation to Small Wins: My Unplanned Productive Day”
Dear diary,
It’s been a roller coaster of a week and I have missed you a lot. Can we start from where we stopped? Some days are crazy while others come with calm and ease. What would you do in some days when you have a lot to do but some factors like electricity availability is hindering you from doing what you want to do?
Well, this Saturday was an exception. Have you ever woken up in a day and all you felt like doing was doing nothing? That’s was how I felt this very Saturday. It seemed I woke up from the left side of my bed.
I still laid in bed hours after my morning routine of praying and reading my Bible and then there were so much to do. Like cooking, washing and I also wanted to participate in a learning challenge that at same day but I could not seem to find the zeal to start. I needed electricity above all but power supply was rather too epileptic.
I told my sister that we needed to cook but I wasn’t feeling up to it. I told her that the only thing I want to do is nothing. I had to implore her to go to the market and get food stuffs for us to cook. She will be the chief cook while I assist her.
All these while, I have always been the one doing most of the buying and cooking while she assists. So it won’t be bad if the table is turned at least for today. She obliged and I was really grateful to have her help out.
When she left for the market, power supply came. If you see the way I dashed out of bed like a flash to the kitchen. Hahahaha, it was like the speed of light. I needed to blend some tomatoes for our cooking and also the rice that I would use for the learning challenge to produce rice flour.
As soon as I finished blending the rice, the power supply went off. But the tomatoes weren’t blended yet. I went back to my rest mode and soonest power supply came again and I quickly blended the tomatoes and peppers for our cooking while awaiting sis’ return.
It took a while for her to come back and I was seeing a movie on my phone. When she came back, we went ahead and started cooking. We made vegetable soup and stew. She cooked while I assisted with helping, with washing and getting the food items ready. I think I still did more of the work.
After making the soup and preparing the stuffs for her to make stew, I had to go lie down a while because my eyes were turning. I haven’t been feeling too well prior to this day. Soonest food was ready and sis called me to come and eat. I dished my own food and ate.
After eating, I had a short nap to rest my heads and eyes. Towards the evening I went to prepare the recipe that I needed to use for my learning challenge post. I do have the necessary equipment hence I had to improvise. Soonest my post was ready and I went ahead to write it.
After that I continued to binge of a movie in my Netflix series and later retired for the night. A day is wanting to do nothing ended up having me do something, ones that I was grateful to Fatehr the morale to do.
Thank you for visiting my diary. See you again.

Thank you @yuswadinisam for your support
Nice that you had a good day. It's a beautiful Easter Sunday, closed from church a few hours ago. I wish I could have my sister help me cook. She's always so busy but it's a delicious meal anyways
