The Diary Game: How My daughter Scared Me About His Brother And Caring For Family (27/03/2026)

In early hours of afternoon I was home with my kids and my daughter screamed, “my mummy” “Jesus Christ”. I was so scared that I didn’t know if I jumped or ran from where I am to find them. My heart left my body instantly. Behold what my daughter screamed ‘mummy’ out loud for. My toddler poured powder on himself and the floor. At that point I got there, I didn’t know whether to slap reset to her senses or laugh because it’s was three different reactions at the point, the fear that got me there from her screaming, the anger that on getting there and seeing the mess like is this why you shout out that way, the laugh from the look on my toddler s face and body. Children can be terrible at times but you just have to be strong and exercise patience and find solutions to their crises anytime they show up with one.

After the tension is down, I looked into is eyes and laughed hard because tell me why he’ll pour powder on himself and look innocent and guilty at the same time. I told him never to pour powder on himself or the floor again, he looked at me and started laughing. I don’t know if I should beat him or shout at him. I face my daughter and told her not to shout in such loud voice again, instead she should find solutions. We both laughed and clean the mess. Shortly after cleaning the mess I try to find them something to eat. I checked the store and find ripe plantains.

I peeled the plantains and cut it into small pieces. I put the frying pan on the gas and pour my groundnut oil and allow it to heat up and put the plantains inside bit by bit and fry and when it crispy to my satisfaction I use my filter iron spoon to remove it from the groundnut oil. After removing it I allow the oil cool off and put the frying pan to the kitchen cabinets, where I bring it out from.

I put it in a flat plate for it to cool off before giving my kids theirs. I eat some and put the remaining for them to eat. While I was waiting for it to cool off I use the opportunity to clean the oil splash one wall tiles and I serve my kids their lunch.
