The Diary Game: Hubby Got Groceries Home From Town After Work (29/04/2026)

Hubby got our son a small carton of biscuits and he bought veggies for cooking .He says regarding the biscuits that if he calculate all the small amounts he’s been buying that it’s worth about 10,000 naira and the small carton he got for our son is just 2500naira. He says he’ll be buying the small carton moving forward in order save expenses. He said whenever the one he just bought finish, he’ll get another one that is quite different from this one so that he’ll eat it and not get bored on same one. My son was so happy over the biscuits. He ate 5pieces from the carton, once you open one for him the next minute he’s asking for another. When he ate up to five I had to go keep the carton on top of the kitchen cabinet where he doesn’t gets to see it at all. He likes biscuits a lot, if I don’t keep it he might eat half of the carton of the biscuits.

Hubby bought veggies alongside the biscuits and onions. It’s meant to be prepared the next day. I took it to the kitchen, I open the veggies to allow air in to it so that it’s doesn’t melt together. I open the kitchen door and put it on a big bucket outside the kitchen balcony. I open the onions nylon as well so it’s doesn’t melt . I ask hubby if he’s ready to eat but he said he’s not ready yet and I had to hold on for him. I ask about work and appreciate him for is efforts and support towards the family. I Cheer him on to keep him lively and welcomed back home. I then ask if he’ll like to shower and he says yes. I quickly go run the bath and prepare him to bath.

When hubby is done bathing, he relax a little and ask that I bring his food. I served him white rice and stew aside with egg and protein. He bought drink already from town otherwise I could have served drink with the food. He bought another type different from the one we have at home. He bought energy drink because he wants something to boast his energy. When he’s done eating, he appreciate me and compliments the food. He calls our daughter and ask what she’s doing in her room and she answered’ I’m reading, and hubby says ‘go and check my back bag, I have something in there for you’. She got the bag and check in and found cookies in side of it. Hubby always carry back bag, in case he needs to get something for the House, my daughter get it and thank her dad. She said she’ll keep it till the following day and she enters her room continue with her reading. Hubby left the living room to go check on is dog outside. He sat there and took fresh air and I left to my room as well.
