The Diary Game: Staying Back From Church And Cooking For My Family (18-01-2026)

Good enough, today is Sunday but the bad news is that, I didn't go to church today and that's really bad of me, right? It's not like I didn't want to go or not, where our church service held today was very far from I am living and the transport to pay down there was going to be much if I decide to go there.

I stayed back home while my hubby and my son went to church. While they were away, I took my purse and went out to buy some kind of things that I will come and prepare food again today. I was even thinking the food I cooked yesterday would be enough for us to eat that yesterday and throughout today, but to my greatest surprise, it wasn't.

I went to the shop that sells foodstuffs, the woman do attend 7th day Adventist Church, so that means their services do hold on Saturdays, I went there and bought Kpomo and other items from her and head back to my house. The time was ticking fast and I had to be sure I was snappy with what I was doing.

When I finished cooking and eating, I sent outside to sit, I repacked my hair again because it was coming out from the initial packing. When it was time I assumed my son and hubby should come back, they didn't come back, I called my hubby to know what the issue was and he told me that they had to wait for elder's meeting, I knew they were going to come back in the evening, so I told him to buy snacks for our son to eat because he ate little food when he wanted to leave in the morning and he told me he had already done that.

When they finally came back home that kind 5pm, I dished food and went to give them to eat. My son was already tired and his eyes could tell that he needed to sleep and rest but I had to force and feed him before I bath him to rest. Immediately my husband finished eating, he rushed to his shop go carry clothes and go give to a customer that was calling him when he was still eating.

When I finished with kitchen duties, my son had woken up, I told him to bring his assignment so that I can show him what to do and how to go about with his assignments, he brought it and we did it together. When we finished doing the assignment, we walked outside to buy small biscuit and eat because I had a little change in my Opay.

When hubby came back, I gave him water to bath and then I swept the sitting room and our living room then I came out to also bath so that I could go to bed as well. I couldn't go to church today but I was blessed, thank you for your time.
