THE DIARY GAME: GARRI PROCESSING DAY ( 7th February 2026).
Hello my beloved friends, it's your baby girl @fruitful200 at STEEMIT, here I bring to my garri making day story to you, please stay tuned 😂. So guys like i said earlier, I normally go back home every weekend and this time around, I went how this weekend for garri processing. And as grown up lady, you have to know how to process garri even at your tender age, because if you are married today, your parents won't follow you to your husband's house or they won't add a maid to you. And my advice to you all is learn to be a hard working woman, Ladies arise and shine. 😂
Guess the time I finished grinding the Cassava, I was very late at night oo . Me getting there around 7:52pm, see the long queue so, I had no other alternative than to join the line although I was very tired 😩.
Finally the Cassava was grinded. Then on Saturday I woke up early as usual brushed my teeth and sweep the whole compound after that, I cooked rice and stew with chicken, fried plantains. that was our breakfast, later around 8 am my dad went to the mill to help me carry the Cassava but he was not allowed to get it,so he had to come back home to inform me,then I followed him in his car to the mill and we carried the Cassava home.
Reaching home, my jonior brother helped me sieved the Cassava,while I washed the garri frying pot knowned as ( eso nsang garri) in our dielet and we also have what we call( garri turner) , used in turning the garri not long, my brother was done sieving the garri and I started my job i.e, the frying process.
This is the wife material 🤣
Finally, I had successfully changed it from Cassava into garri, guess what! I will use the garri to prepare eba for edikan-ikong on Sunday. Don't forget it's me the foodie girl 😂. see how beautiful the garri looks,very good for sipping.
