The Diary Game: Worshipping In My Friend's Church For A Reason(11-01-2026)

I was in Eket yesterday to worship in my friend's church, it was their marriage blessing and Thanksgiving service snd I didn't want to miss it. I had woken up very early in the morning, did everything I had to do at home, took my bath and got dressed before moving to my church which was the venue for our departure. Not everyone were interested in the movement but for someone whom I had close relationship with, I just knew it would be bad to miss out on her big day. We moved when we were complete, five in numbers. The driver drove off to Eket and on getting there, we were shown where and how to pack before I went into the church.

I attended service and every other event that took place. I was oppoturned to take a picture with my friend and her husband before entering the car and we journeyed back to Uyo. While we were going, I noticed that my stomach had began to make noise and I knew that's a sign of hunger, I begged the driver to branch any eatery we would come across first so I could buy a plate of meal for myself. Others supported and it seemed almost everyone in the car were hungry so luckily an eatery wasn't far from us so we branched and bought food before continuing our journey.

I got home in the afternoon, took my bath and slept. I have not had enough rest for sometime now because of one engagements or the other but I was so happy to have slept for more than three hours without disturbance. When I woke up, I boiled rice which I used to eat the stew I had in the fridge. I finished eating and took a walk around my neighborhood after I had let the meal digest first.

I returned back home, studied my Bible and slept afterwards, I couldn't meet up with writing and that was not really okay with me but the more I forced myself, the more it was impossible for words to flow so I had to skip yet another day. I'm happy to be part of the @steemit family, God bless us all.
