The Diary Game: A Resting Day For Me After A Long Days Of Work (07/04/2026)

So far so good, I have been able to complete all the clothes that were supposed to be picked up today and do you know what? I am the most happiest person right now. I had to just rest today because, I needed it. From my eyes right when I woke up, you will believe me that I am really stressed but thank God for the strength He gave me to work.

After I stood up and left the room, I made breakfast for my babe to eat and go to work then when he had eaten, I gave him his work bag and he went to work. I cleared the table he ate and washed the plates then cleaned up the room before my daughter woke up. I was even happy I did more than half of the chores before she finally woke up because that was my fear, if she wakes up now, I won't be able to do anything.

When she woke up, I bathed her and then I gave her food to eat and then I went to the bathroom and bathed her, changed her clothes and washed the ones I took from her. After that, she ate and I gave her the children's tab to play with while I concentrated on what I was doing.

When I finished, I took my bath and I and then I brought out the afang soup with garri that was in the kitchen and I ate it. After I finished eating, I took my rest. I just took blood tonic and that made me slept off.

The only time I woke up was when my landlady came around, it's been long I saw her not untill today, she brought plantain from her farm and gave it to me. I was so happy, this woman can literally give out her last Kobo to anyone and I am so happy she is my landlady. I took it with a grateful heart and I went inside.

I went back to continue with what the sleep but couldn't sleep long again because it was evening already and I needed to start cooking what we will be eating for dinner. My daughter was already troubling me and I had to make something really quick for her to eat.

When I finished, I warmed the afang soup and I put my husband's own in a flask and ate mine because he told me he was going to come back home late because they are already into the second quarter of the year and the work load was becoming much. I just prayed with him and told him I might sleep before he comes back home. Now, it's time to share my day and just go to bed.
