A Patient with Hot Oil Burn. My Dairy Game (12-1-2026)
Hello Ladies Universe, had to share my yesterday's dairy game today because of how stressful my yesterday was that I didn't have enough time to share it yesterday.
It is true that we can not control how people get sick and the numbers of people that get sick per day. I started the day looking all happy not know the workload waiting for me at the office.
But before leaving the house, I made sure to pack my lunch, (Palm-oil Rice), and set out for work.
When I got to the office, there was a lady waiting in the Casualty ward. Apparently, she had epileptic attack and fell into a hot oil. This caused serious second degree burn on her body. The burn affected her chest area, her arm, a little part of her breast and stomach. The sight was so devastating and sympathetic and due to patient's confidentiality I couldn't take her picture.
I spent the remaining part of the day teaching my trainee how to carryout tests that he was not familiar with yet. I took time to do the explanation so as to equip him with the necessary etiquette of laboratory work for precision, accuracy and quality control. After work, I went home and had this bread that my roommate gave to me and off I was on my bed sleeping. My day was really filled with activities and I pray I have more time today to fill my community people in on my daily activities. Thank you for reading.
The doctor and the nurses came and attended to her, her wounds were cleaned and appropriate burn healing suspensions were applied to the affected area to cool down the pain, burning sensation and avoid blisters from forming. After that she was allowed to rest before going home.

We are in the same profession, dear. It's true one cannot control the way they get sick but we can always prevent some sickness through routine check, eating balanced diet and having enough rest. You have shared absolutely a beautiful piece about your day.
Its so great to meet a fellow medical practitioner on this space. I went to see her today, she looks better than yesterday. The anxiety and fear she felt is no more. Soon she will be alright.
