The Diary Game: Early Shop Runs And Family Connection 29-12-2025

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your friend @joychi102 and I am here to share how my day was till this night.

Earlier this morning, after making sure I prepared breakfast for the family, I left and went to my shop to go and open it. Though school is not on session and since this place is a little bit rural, a lot of people had come back home to come and celebrate both Christmas and new year so I have been making good sales lately. After taking things outside, the first thing I had to do as my morning task was to measure pepper.

It was a full bowl of pepper there that I was measuring and honestly, I am always very scares of doing this because countless times, I have mistakenly used the same hands I used in measuring pepper to rub my eyes and the experience has never been funny in any way, that's why I always make sure I take my time, measure the pepper and wash my hands after doing that.

When I was hungry, I went inside the shop and was looking for what would serve as both breakfast and lunch, I couldn't really figure it out, so I took coke and sausage roll and began to eat. Secondly, I ddnt want to eat heavy food that morning/afternoon because of the way I was feeling.

When I finished eating, I went on to attend to my customers till my kids came to the shop to stay with me. Now, my daughter can handle customers and that was why I was relieved. I rested a little before I took back from her Nd was attending to customers before my husband came back from his shop and told me to take the kids back home.

I couldn't leave immediately because the food I prepared in the morning was still at home and I will only need to warm it and give to everyone to eat. I stayed by and was helping my husband till around 6pm, I decided to leave the shop.

When I got back home, I took the jollof rice I prepared and then I warmed it. After warming the food, I removed two meats from the stew and added to it then gave it to my kids to eat as their dinner while I wait for my husband to close the shop and come back home.

When my husband came back to the house, I ate with him and then we took our bath. I am tired and I feel like just sleeping but first, let me share how my day was so I can sleep well. Have a lovely week ahead, my friends.
