The Diary Game: My Family Ate Bread And Tea For Breakfast, Laundry And Family Duties 10-01-2026

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your friend @joychi102 and today, I want to just share a very small fragment of my Saturday's diary.

In the morning, I sent my son to go to the shop and get bread and milk with chocolate so that we could prepare breakfast. He went and got a full loaf of bread. I made breakfast of tea with bread before I took all the dirty clothes to bath.

Saturdays hasn't been easy on me because that's when I got to wash all the dirty clothes in the house. I took them out and then I began to wash them so that I can dry them early. After washing them, I took my bath and then I went to the bedroom to sleep. My body was so weak after washing.

As I was still on bed, my daughter came in and told me I should give her money to go and buy exercise book to do her assignment, I went to the drawer and removed some cash and gave to her to go and buy the exercise book.

When she left, I slept off and then I went out to go and stay with my husband for a short period of time. Before leaving the house, I made watermelon for my kids to eat so that it will take them for that afternoon till I will be back to cook dinner.

I stayed with my husband in the shop and then he told me he will be going out to buy bread for the shop, so I was the one that attended to customers in the shop till my husband came back by 4 in the evening. When it was 5:30, my daughter came and told me she was done with assignment that we should go.

I left my husband in the shop and went back home to cook food for dinner. I prepared rice and then dished for kids to eat, since my daughter was still washing plates in the kitchen, my son began to eat.

When we finished eating in the house, we went to the shop and waited for our daddy to finish packing so that we can all go back home. I personally didn't want him to close late, that was why I had to take the kids to the shop, if he sees the kids, he would want to close early. We took a selfie by the way.

When we got back home finally, we took our bath and then the kids went to watch cartoon, I was with my husband in the room calculating how much we have made so far, we did our weekly a count balancing, I went to bed straight ahead.
