The Diary Game: Washing Clothes And Other Motherly Duties 21-02-2026

Hello, ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your friend @joychi102 and today, I would be sharing how today went, let's get started.

In the morning, I had so many things to do but I decided to start with the washing of clothes, that was the most pressing thing to do. I washed all the clothes we wore during the day, it's not always easy on Saturdays for me. When I finished the first clothes, I washed the second ones, those ones didn't really mean anything because I finished then up before anything enter my mouth.

When I finished to wash everything, I went outside and got there to hang them, that was when I noticed that our neighbor also washed her clothes very early and she occupied the entire rope for hanging of clothes.

When I finished hanging the clothes, I went to the kitchen and did the breakfast of noodles with fried plantain, my kids loved it, even me, I love it because it's been some times now, I haven't eaten anything like that.

After eating, I got freshened up and I joined my husband in the shop, he was the only person there so I had to go and help him. When I got there, I handed him the food to eat, he looked so tired, I asked him to stay so that I can attend to customers by myself. It was afternoon and that was the time he was eating his breakfast.

When he finished eating, he relaxed and he slept off, I was the one attending to customers and when he woke up and came outside, he told me to go to the market and buy meat so that I will season and keep for us to use maybe tomorrow and cook, so I left the shop.

When I went to the market, I bought the meat and took it back home, so I washed it when I brought it back home, I also washed the palm fruit that I bought from the market as well. When I finished, I put both of them in the freezer then I prepared rice for us to eat for dinner.

While the rice was still on fire, I went outside to remove the clothes from the rope, then I came back inside to hang the clothes and also make sure that where I kept the hanger, the clothes won't drip water into the house.

When my husband came back very late, we ate together because I waited for him, I didn't just want to eat alone because I wouldn't have been able to do that. When I finished, I bathed and now it's to to wish the day a good bye.
