The Diary Game: Visiting My Mum And Spending Time With Her(16-12-2025)

There is another kind of joy you feel when you are around people you love and you know that they love you too. After God, family is the next thing I cherish most. I'm one of those lucky people to still have their parents alive. My mum is not only alive but she is healthy and hearty. Yesterday, I went to visit my mum.

I wanted to visit my mum before Christmas because I know by then, her grandchild won't give me a chance with my mum. I did everything i was supposed to do in the morning before going to work. When I got to the office, I pleaded with the manager to add thirty extra minutes to my lunch break. I wanted to use the opportunity to visit my mum. I got his approval.

I couldn't wait for noon. I was just so excited that I was going to meet my mum. The drive from my office to her house is just ten minutes drive. My mum was very excited when she saw me. I bought malt and snacks for her.

We spoke about a lot of things. The first thing she asked of was her grandchildren. It was really a wonderful time with my mom. She really wanted me to stay longer but my time was up and I needed to go back to work. My mum decided to walk me to the gate. I saw her old bicycle. The bicycle was still looking fine.
