The Dairy Game: Tales Of A Student Nailtech (30-01-2026)

Today I'll be blogging about a day in my life as a home based nail tech and a 200L counseling student, trust you'll enjoy my little story. Being a student and a nail technician can be very stressful trust me, coupled with the fact that I work from home struggling with visibility for my business and coping with school stress and to think that I have a 10am test tomorrow on a course a barely understand Jesusssss I felt drained but what could I do, I read few hours took a nap and opened my WhatsApp to see that I had received a booking to make a presson set, I was so excited as I felt I was going to end this week with zero bookings again.

So after I received a message that she wanted customized Presson set for herself I got so excited but I didn't let my excitement get the best part of me, I had to be professional to some extent pleaseeeeeeeee so I don't lose my steeze lol, I asked for her inspo which she sent and I felt so good because it was one of my freestyle set I had posted months back I actually didn't except someone to have kept it as an inspo. So after getting her inspo I went straight down to business and I sent her tutorial on how to take measurements so I would be able to take accurate measurements for her customized set, after a lot of trail and error she finally got it right and sent this picture which I was quite satisfied with.

After taking her measurements, I was craving popcorn and something cold as it was sooo hot over here today, I decided to take Keke down to tantalizer to buy the popcorn ooo because cravings must be satisfied or am I wrong?? Either ways after buying the popcorn I saw a popsicle stall few meters away from the popcorn stall so I decided to buy since twas going to be cold but I won't lie to y'all I honestly had regret buying this popsicle has it tasted bad in my mouth after licking it few times so I just brought it back home and had my mom taste it and she said it was nice it then dawned on me that malaria is playing games with my taste buds but I didn't have time to dwell on it so I decided to deal with it later.

So after I returned home and the whole "popsicle" saga lol I decided to focus on my business as I had to make time to study at night in preparation for the test of tomorrow 10am. So I took my nail pack and began sizing her nails to check which one suits perfectly because there's no room for mistakes with my brand ooo.. so after sizing I prepared my presson stand and the nails as seen and twas ready for prepping and design then I decided to rest again and that's how my day came to an end as a nail technician and a student. Worry less I'll still bring us story on how I'll deliver and also the clients review on the nails, thank you for reading.
