The Diary Game: |01/02/2026| Celebrating My Birthday Day In Style

It's my birthday!!!! Yes it is! I am definitely going to shout. Sunday was for me and I promised myself that after everything I had survived some months back, I will never seize to celebrate my day. You might wonder why I celebrate twice a year, it's because when I was born on the 1st of February, something happened, according to my mum, she thought she lost me because I never said anything, they almost declared me clinically dead but God came through and on the 11th day after my birth, I was able to breathe and cry like a normal person.

So, you see, I am a blessed child and my birth Is just a mystery, that is why I don't always want to feel like I am less of a woman, I have survived a whole lot as a woman and today, I am still standing strong and healthy. My friend came to the house and we went out to go and celebrate, all bills were on her, she bought a mortar of Nkwobi for me, I was devouring it like it's my first time.

Another reason I don't fall to celebrate myself is that, I want to get used to celebrating myself and not wait for anyone to do that for me, my friends knows that's and that is why, anytime they know my birthday is approaching, they will always be there to cheer me. I am the birthday girl and they came out in numbers to come and celebrate me.

We had so much fun at the pool side and I was so happy people of this calibre came to celebrate with me. They prayed for me and I was so excited. As we were celebrating, someone that was sitting at the far extreme of the pool side came and asked if he could join us, I said he could but the gathering was based on invitation. He joined us and he bought everything we drank after the first round and ordered takeaways for me.

I was surprised that a total stranger would come and do that, I appreciated him, and just when he left, I asked the waiter about him and he told me he is the son of the Deputy Governor of our state. I almost lost it because such humility was something else. He associated with us and never thought we were not elite class people and this happened on my birthday which means God is about to bless me wholesomely.

When I snapped this duo picture with my friend, Alice, we left and I went straight to my boyfriend's house. He was actually waiting for me, he couldn't come to the pool side because it was just for my girls and I. So, when I got back home, he had made custard with homemade moi moi which is my favourite and kept for me.

I ate the food and was so grateful to him for that meal. When I finished eating, he sent me money and when I checked, it was a huge sum of money, I was so happy, even right now, I am so happy for that. Once again, though it's past my birthday but I am still wishing me the best things of life and long life to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF.
