Celebrate my Grandma at 107|| Birthday Special || Diary Game 26th December 2025

Come with me as I go celebrate my grandmother at 107. It’s such a sunny day for this kind of celebration. We’re done with our preparations and so took out time for a few pictures.

We headed Straight to pick up the birthday cake and I can say for the first time that I was amply impressed. We had hired the services of Renny’s fast food and they had delivered.

Even though it was the festive season, they were in full swing as they had a lot of smaller cakes and other foods on display!!

It’s a place I can recommend families to go to and have a wonderful time. Next stop was my village.

Medical Outreach

Once we arrived, I realized that the medical outreach program had begun. Every year on my granny’s birthday, before the occasion starts proper, we hold a medical outreach for the community. This year we majored on the eyes, giving free consultations, drugs, and glasses for the different eye defects.

There was a packed crowd as the pictures tell. This went on till some minutes past 12pm and then we started the Birthday celebration proper. The women had cooked and were now packing the foods in disposable containers.

From here on, it was a flurry of activities, singing, dancing, speaking, and then my grandmother was called to dance in!

She was accompanied by her children, grand children and most people that came to witness the event.
Another round of speech, prayers, laughs, and then it was time to cut her cake. We all gathered to do this!

Once this was done and we danced a little, the gifts began to flow. Every year, there are bags of rice, and food condiments that are shared to the people who attend the occasion and this was the next phase we moved into. The condiments had been pre-packed into smaller packs. At the same time, food and cake was going round. People were shouting for their own share and all, how it’s always done at events.

By this time, evening had come, and it signaled the end of the occasion. I’m glad we’re able to celebrate a woman who has poured tremendously into the lives of everyone around her evident by the testimonies of those I encountered both young and old.
